😑

In terms of powerset? Ms. Marvel. She was created to be Marvel's answer to Wonder Woman. She was the first female Marvel character to have her own book.

In terms of character? Storm.

Wonder Woman was kind of originally intended to be the female counterpart to Superman.
So: who is the female counterpart to Gladiator/Sentry? That's your Marvel Wonder Woman.

Thor is Marvel's Wonder Woman.

I suppose it really has to be Power Princess

🤣

There is none.

Just like there is no DC equivalent of the X-men.

I dont think Marvel has one. Sure you have Ms.Marvel, Storm, Jean Grey, they may be powerful but they are not as popular as WW. When u think of JLA the first 3 that comes to mind are Batman, Supes and Wonder Woman. I really dont think about Ms.Marvel when the Avengers are mentioned. Maybe Marvel should create a version of WW for Marvel, like Sentry for Supes.

Anyone want to list out the top 10 most popular women in DC and Marvel.(Seperate lists for both)

Nah...I think Marvel should just focus on the women they've got...plenty of potential there...no need for more overpowered characters...

I think the Doom Patrol fit that bill.

They are more similar to Fantastci Four than to the X-men.

There also exist strong similarities between The Doom Patrol and the Fantastic Four, the Marvel Comics series which had debuted about two years earlier. Both foursomes had characters with similar abilities. The Fantastic Four's Mr. Fantastic and The Doom Patrol's Elasti-Girl both had stretching powers reminiscent of Plastic Man; The F.F.'s Human Torch and The D.P.'s Nega-Man had similar abilities; and both teams had a strong-man with a freakish body who felt less than human because of it (the Thing in the F.F., Robotman in the D.P.). Niles Caulder, who always remained "invisible" (that is, behind the scenes) was in that respect analogous to the Invisible Girl. Both groups quarrelled amongst each other, a trait that distinguished the Doom Patrol from other D.C. superhero groups. As the series progressed, however, the Doom Patrol book developed its own style and identity.

That's a bit of a strech...but I wouldn't put them next to the X-men.

hello

I always thought that Valkyrie SHOULD be Marvels version of Wonder WOman, but she is never written well.

If there's none now then I have Ms Marvel in the near future. She started out as their Wonderwoman, then they went ahead and made her a drunk and had her raped. Now she's back with a new book (a very good one I might add), she's pro-reg but imo is the most likeable of the all the other pro-reg people and soon it appears she'll be leading the Mighty Avengers. Marvel seems really intent on pushing Carol to be their lead female character and I gotta say it looks like its working

Possibly Ms. Marvel or Thena of the Eternals.

If you ask me, trying to make characters from different companies like each other is dumb.

Cap is not Marvel's Batman, he is his own character. Is he similar? Yes

But they arent the same

There isn't really a female that Marvel seems to favour...in terms of popularity though it'd be down to Storm or Sue...

As for Ms Marvel isn't she too much of a suck up to be made Marvels #1 Women...

I don't think this like that. i think the thread starter meant who is Marvels Wonderwoman as in who is their flapship female character. I could be wrong bout this though

Exactly. Thats why I said it looking like its gonna shpae up to be Ms Marvel. She has a good book, is one of the premier pro-reg guys plus by far the most likeable imo, and she's gonna be leading the Mighty Avengers. She's getting really high profile
