could someone critque mine a bit for me? what's it lacking, what's wrong with it. i'm trying to get better at sigs -- they're fun! -- but really don't know technically very much about them and what makes them 'good' . . . 🙁

I wont say I know what the hell Im talking about, but I can try and help.

For a beginner it looks pretty good, but I think the use of so many different images takes the sig down at notch. At the very least the swan looks a little out of place. I like the lighting effect you have going on though, from darkness to light, and the horn flare is pretty sweet. Could do with a better background and a border though.

All in all? 5.9-6.3/10

hmm, i don't know technically how it rates, but visually speaking it seems too . . . monotone to me and the white letters seem to really jump out and seem almost seperate from the rest.

i see that . . . style (??) i see that a lot in sigs, loads of mixing and blending and blurring of images. yours isn't so dramatic, but still it doesn't entirely work for me. 😬
