Vulcan became an omega after this

The storyline X-Men: Deadly Genesis implies that Vulcan was beyond Omega-level at birth. This can be disputed, however, as it was implied that his power levels were amplified to Omega-level when he absorbed the energy released by Scarlet Witch (Uncanny X-men # 477)
