JLA, Who'd you cast?

Superman: Brandon Routh
Batman: Cristian Bale
Wonder Woman: Priyanka Chopra
Wally West: Ryan Reynolds
John Stewart: Michael Jai White
Martian Manhunter: (Help)
Aquaman: (Help)

I agree with Reynolds, but if that didn't work, I'd say Michael Rosenbaum who already has the Flash roll down (JLU). Just let him hit the gym for a couple of months, and grow some hair, and he'd fit pretty well (one of the few voice actors that would).

What about MM and AM?

I doubt they'd allow Rosenbaum to play the Flash, considering his role in Smallville.

All aside, I don't think he'd be a bad choice, though.

John Stewart: Hugh Quarshire (did I spell that right?) if they go with Stewart. As for Kyle or Hal, I don't know. That's hard to cast.

I was gonna write more but...meh...lol

I picked Stewart because I could think of more actors for him than for Hal(Didn't even concern Kyle) and because I think it should be racially diversed. Greek, Black, White, Atlantean Martian, Kryptonian etc.

Racial diversity doesn't matter to me. I'd honestly rather prefer Kyle, but I can't think of anybody who could play him lol.

kyle could of been played by the guy who is the human torch in FF, but he's tied to that, hal jordan could be played by the doctor from lost, he grew his hair longer he could suit that character.

I liked the pyanka girl more than carpenter, she's got more of a greek look to her, which is what wonder woman is descended from.

Unless there are scheduling conflicts, I doubt that they'd have a problem with it. Might as well use someone that knows the character, and is already on Warner's payroll.

People, people, come on! Everyone has picked Brandon Routh as superman? I liked the movie, sure, but i would never pick him if I had a choice. C'mon now. Dig deep. Think! Who would really be good for these roles. Not just of what teenage heart-throb of the last 6 months would be good, but, of all actors avaliable today!

First of all, which green lantern are we talking about here? People have assumed Hal Jordan, but he left (demolished) the GL corpse ages ago. I think a new JLA would cast the young buck (i forget his name).

Also, I personally feel most superheroes should be played by relative unknown actors because, if history is any lesson (catwoman, daredevil, the league, elektra), casting a star in the lead is a kiss of death for comic movies.

But since we can't cast unknowns 'cause we don't know them, here's my list:

Superman: Ben Kingsley (25 years ago, it'd be Paul Newman)
Batman: Denzel Washington
Wonder Woman: Vivica A Fox (15 Years ago, it'd be Cher)
Green Lantern: Johnny Depp
Flash: Matt Damon (though I like Reynolds for this too)
Martian Manhunter: Anthony Hopkins
Aquaman: Chris Cooper
Green Arrow: Harrison Ford
Plasticman: Jim Carrey of course
Powergirl: Jodie Foster
Vixen: Queen Latifah

I can see Jim Carrey.....that's it lol. A black Batman? An old and bald Superman? Hopkins (albeit a great actor) for MM? A fat Vixen? etc....I don't know, man lol.

lol i think u were pulling our leg right? Routh is the number 1 pick for superman, bale for batman, and well... that's about it so far, as no other film for anyother character has even been shown yet... bummer

Why not a black batman? Who says Bruce Wayne has to be white?

Why not an old, bald superman? Though, you do realize there's such a thing as wigs, right? Though you don't know it, most of your favorite stars having worn a wig for a flick one time or another. They're that good at making it believable. And, he won't look old in make-up either. Besides, Kingsley's only like 40. Harrison Ford is over 60.

Kevin Spacey isn't actually bald, everyone knows that, but he looked like lex luthor in the film. In the 70's, Gene Hackman had hair as lex, and that worked out fine.

And actors gain and lose weight for roles all the time, I don't see why Latifah should be any different. And who cares if she's not skinny?

These comic book heroes aren't about looks, they're about attitudes. They're about what they stand for and what they can accomplish and such.

If they were gonna have kyle rayner, I wouldn't mind if they used the guy that played cyclops in the xmen movies... the same guy that played as lois's love interest in superman returns.

as far as hal jordan, he's got a rugged individuality to him, i guess someone like that actor thats gonna be the new james bond, hes kinda got the luck, not sure if he's got an accent though. other than that maybe if it were to be done in a few years.. .the kid that plays harry osborn, i could see him growing into that role...
