Marvel is one multiverse. While the Marvel multiverse is very vast (with all the different realities), it doesn't encompass everything fiction in its entirety. Omniverse means *all* universes, which Marvel isn't.

Again, Marvel Universe is a very vast MULTI-verse with many, many different universes within. However, you cannot use the word "Omni" to describe Marvel, simply because Marvel doesn't encompass *everything*, which by defintion, is what omni means.
The term "multiverse" is used overabundantly there, when it should be referred as simply "universe." (Something Marvel refers to a lot)
There’s a scan of some Marvel heroes looking at one “their” Omniverse and one of the characters says something along the lines of “Behold the Omniverse” and Captain America is like all “I never imagined…”. Omniverse is the term that Marvel uses for a collection of Multiverses. The MU is more than just one Multiverse, it contains an infinite amount of Multiverses and Marvel calls it “The Omniverse”. What would you call a collection of Multiverses anyway?

Every multiverse WITHIN Marvel. In the greater scope of fiction, it's still just a multiverse. Do the things written in those panels suddenly overwrite every other piece of fiction ever written? No. Therefore despite what's written there, when you look at fiction in its entirety, Marvel is still just Marvel. Marvel isn't everything.

When I say "Omniverse" I mean literally EVERYTHING in fiction. That includes Marvel, DC, Image, Manga, Dark Horse, Video Games all the way down to lowly things like Archie and Simpsons. So I go by the more denotational usage of the word "Omni"
