i'd have to disagree again, but blondes do it for me more than redheads, allthough i agree Pete and Mj do work perfectly but I still prefer Gwen.

Gwen was and will allways be the love of Peters life. I know he truly loves MJ but Gwen was his first pick. She was his world and MJ is increadible and he could have went through all he has without her, but if Gwen had lived he wouldn't have needed MJ. Either way when it comes to women, well that is the one aspect of his life where he is one luckly bastard!!!devil

How in any shape form or fashion does that show him chosing MJ.

That Time how many times did he chase her???
Either way that doesn't show him chosing MJ over Gwen
You won't find one that does except in the clone saga or something like that and in the saga he was extremelly conflected (understandably) and she had been dead to him for years and he was married to MJ.
Kinda hard to chase the woman u love when she's been dead for years and your standing next to the woman you married tring to sort it all out.

Gwen stopped being Pete's true love IMO when they revealed she was a f**king whore and slept with that shit Osborn!

See? That's what I am arguing. People's character doesn't change very much. Yes, she was his first love, and she died before their love could die a natural death (as it would have, inevitably), and therefore he still has this perfect picture of her in his mind, that he's probably still in love with.

But if they had kept on going out, she would have cheated on him again, and eventually he would have found out, and they would have broken up, anyway.

Petey and MJ are meant to be together, she has fought for him and he has fought for her countless times, and as time passes, their love just keeps on growing stronger, which is the way it should be.

Actually, I believe Marvel has said they're looking for a way to seperate them--either by her death or separation--to bring Pete back to his roots. 😉

Who? Who does Marvel want to separate? MJ and Pete?

Yes well they let that get out of hand, hopefully they will learn from their mistakes, allthough admitidly I didn't mind the clone saga I thought it was quite a good read untill around the end of it where Jackle had gone from revenge on Peter Parker to kill everyone in sight. I also enjoyed Ben Reily's run as Spider-man. Pity him and pete didn't fight alonside each other when both were Spider-man, but oh well. I also enjoyed the final twist with Norman Osborn, admittidly his character got very repetative after Peter beat him in that arc but untill then....
