Originally posted by StrangeloveIt is by Brian Doherty, editor of Reason magazine (excellent magazine, by the way), it's called Radicals for Capitalism, it illuminates the history and ideas of the great thinkers and supporters of capitalism and libertarianism. I enjoy it thoroughly. Now, I realize you don't have the same political opinion as I do, but still I think you could derive quite some knowledge from it.
Please do. Always willing to learn.
Let's see:
The GOP Haters Handbook by Jack Huberman (in the middle of it now)
The Road to 270 - It's about electoral strategies, but I can't find it at the moment so I don't have the full title.
Living History by Hillary Clinton
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
I want to take a look at the writings of Machiavelli
Dante's Divine Comedy - bought it a while ago, haven't gotten around to it yet
Plus a bunch of other political books that I bought it a garage sake.
And some novels that I had to read in high school and want to revisit.
So I guess 13 is lowballing it.
But I'll probably check out this Doherty book before I get to the stuff I already own.

Yeah, it is quite sad. Especially that even if people read they read Religious works or popular fiction (aka shit).

Strangey, how much cooler than you does it make Ou Bee Low hoo that he had basically the same thread almost two years before you?
But because of that fact I'd wager not much.
Plus there's the fact that that thread only got 135 posts and this one is considerably more successful.

The other facts you don't know about weigh in big time though.
