that's kind of a silly concept dont you think
Powerful characters are often neglected, due to uncreative writing. But they can be written well, and with challenges.

cause it's hard to find every day challenges when your powerful enough to move planets
Or when you're not creative enough to come up with original threats and motives.
Every big threat doesn't have to be able to destroy a galaxy, or a solar system with a blast from their ass.
Writers are lazy, and write purely for the check that comes with it. There isn't any growth.
In comics I prefer the underpowerd characters like Spider-man, they have more intresting stories, and better character development's imo. And I just prefer the fights they seem much more brutal in a sense.
But in Tv shows and Movies I prefer the overpowerd characters like Superman theres always something cool about seeing a godly character saving the day...thoughts that come to mind such as in Superman returns where Superman lifts Lex's boat out of the sea to save Lois and Jason, or in JLU when Superman decides to stop holding back on Darkseid.
