Or when you're not creative enough to come up with original threats and motives.

Every big threat doesn't have to be able to destroy a galaxy, or a solar system with a blast from their ass.

Writers are lazy, and write purely for the check that comes with it. There isn't any growth.

Dude! A character who can level galaxies by blasting from his ass?

*e-mails Grant Morrison*

i prefer underpowered they just seem more intersting

same here

Lando, a few of your threads have me thinking you need to browse the forum rules before you make too many more. But this thread isn't hurting anything...I'll just be moving it to the general comics forum.

It is far more interesting to see a character overcome incredible odds than it is to see a character with nearly unlimited power and NO weaknesses that just wines cause "i can't save everone and if i do everyone will depend on me" oh boo hoo.

I don't care about Liu. It's all about Johnny, Sub-Zero, and Raiden. 'NUFF SAID.
Johnny Cage! Scorpion, and Drahmin too... Drahmin rules biatches!

Generally, I like under-powered characters more (Spider-Man, Nightwing, Captain America, etc.), however, I've taken a recent liking the Sentry. Maybe because he has some kind of problem he faces on a daily basis, and isn't too "uber."

On the other hand, a character like Superman... hell no. ❌

Reiko. I just like using him. Hes got a nice set of moves. Kenshi's pretty awesome too.

I liked Rain, Reptile, basically all the ninjas.
Kintaro is sweet too. That's why I want the new game.

YEA! MARVEL's the one without balls! 😠

Shit I'd like to see DC actually try something even close to Civil War where everything doesn't go back to basically the exact same thing it was before right after.

Shit I'd just like to see them go a year without reconning anything that has the potential to upset the status quo.

yes, because identity crisis didnt have widespread repercussions for dc... dc spent the better part of two years building up to infinite crisis...

or sinestro corps war... kyle's just been possessed by parallax, and a fair part of the gl corps still hate hal for what he did as parallax...

or the fact that people still won't live in the new coast city...

Captain America's life is never in any more damage than Superman's, realistically speaking.

I said ONE of Marvel's cash cow. He along with Namor founded Marvel and was their base. They aren't going to kill him off.

Hindsight is 20/20... but still.

Maybe marvel read these posts and decided to prove you wrong. 😠

Batdude should've spent more points in foresight.

Whilst I agree that Sinestro Corps war will have repercussions and Infinite Crisis did have big repercussions, Civil War had far bigger and bolder repercussions than Infinite Crisis. Don't get me wrong I loved Infinite Crisis and Civil War. I'm loving Sinestro Corps, but Civil War showed IMO that Marvel has much bigger testicles when it comes to story lines ✅

Infinite Crisis was big but it was essentially a cosmic who dunnit with only Alexander Luthor posing as the suspect, it's two major deaths were a member of the Teen Titans and character who I think was last seen at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths (Superman of Earth 2). Flash didn't count as he's not dead. Civil War killed off Captain America, allowed a greater degree of reader interaction with the whole "Whose side are you on?" and had the balls to have the side that the most readers were rooting against win so that they could considerably alter the landscape of the Marvel Universe into a more super hero military orientated place. ✅

Superman is in danger constantly since he fights enemies who are as strong or stronger than he is
