The stories are also different , sure Peach get's captured but theres always soem major difference.

Gta - Become king of a crime emperor while dealing with various other illegal activites.

Thats it...every game has the same under lying plot.

As much as I like Mario, and dislike the GTA series, I can't help but notice the tenuousness of this analysis.

On another note, imagine how much of a 'stir' girl-on-girl scenes would have caused.

Absolutely none, and I made that point already.

If it's just a few second long kiss, I don't even see why it's an issue. Now, American Pie 2's guy-on-guy Kiss was pretty nasty.
