hmm

I think only those in the "Eurozone" use the Euro. The UK, I think, is part of of the EU but only those part of the Eurozone use the Euro.

weeelll, now that you put it THAT way...I don't feel so bad about making a mistake. 😄

It's just called being aware of other country's cultures and that. Nothing major.

Just irks me when Americans act like there's no possible way or reason to know about the current way of life in England.

That's true. We have plenty of things to worry about other than a currency that we don't use. hmm

In all fairness, thought, both you and I want to travel to the UK eventually. [edit] so I guess we need to figure these things out before we go. 😆

Just a question of time until you use it.

The euro is also used in a number of states outside the Eurozone.

I talked to a guy from France once who didnt know what Mardi Gras is.

I met someone on Xbox Live who thought that the English and related countries came from America and that we all spoke American, not English... raise_eyebrow

That's generally only Germany and surrounding countries, the French are very particular about that, as are the Spanish. But yes, most Germanic women do not shave their legs or pits. I think the reason is because they prefer to be more natural, but I'm not sure about that.

Well, I personally see nothing bad about it. They like it, and german men like it, so why really get bothered about it?
