Films like godfather and scarface are the best films ever made

well scarface doesnt really deserve to be mentioned with godfather. Scarface was very entertaining but is a highly overrated movie in my opinion. Its overall just not very good and pretty damn cheesy, yet it was still fun to watch just not deserving of all the great praise it gets.

City of God is a fantastic film, but I don't think it is strictly a 'gangster movie'. It's more about the story of the divergent paths that Rocket and Lil' Ze's lives take; their lives in the favella.

that's true i was thinking more of a crime movie. which it is, but not at all a gangster movie

How can you have departed in a top gangster movie list? I thought it was good but not one of best gangster movies....and i agree with solo that godfather is over rated movie..

The Godfather overrated yet you have Pulp Fiction as number one? While Pulp Fiction is great, it's FAR more overrated than The Godfather has ever been.

The first 2 Godfathers, Casino, and Goodfellas are the best Gangster movies IMO.
