I've been thinking about this all weekend and I think it will happen. It makes sense. POTC is inspired by mytology/myths and a lot of myths ends like that. They are not "dead-dead", they still are, no one really "dies" it would seem. How sweet, EW in eternal underwater bliss *barfs*. It also fits with the writers comment about "the correct choice"

i know... i'm super nervous about the ending... whats all this nonsense of Liz dying? I agree with LovelyOne-- i really dont think that would be the end of it.
I'm still pretty adamanent that none of the 3 main characters will die as in a final death, bury them, etc. they might turn into fish-faces or become immortal, but it wouldnt be right. In my world, anyways, lol. 🙂
There is a difference from borrowing someone's idea, such as what TnT have done, and from STEALING...
Stealing an idea involves seeing someone else's idea, TAKING it, posting it elswhere, and claiming that the idea was original and your own.
I don't see TnT laying any claim to Calypso as 'their' idea.
At any rate, I can't prove that Kate stole the idea, so there's not much more to say on the matter.
And I still believe W/E will end up together, I believe they are both going to die, but I also believe that they will be brought back to life. So we shall see. 😄
Since I have no proof that would satisfy me as to the legitimacy of your friend, LovelyOne, I have no reason to believe that your script is correct. So even if you keep pushing the idea that you have the truth, I won't believe it until someone I from the films confirms it.
why do you think they're going to die....and then get brought back to life? if it's in the leaked script, i didn't read it, so that's probably why i don't know.
but yeah i agree w/ you about W/E in potc 3. UNLESS, they decide to make more, then they might leave it open for potc 4. like they did in potc 2.
well it is their idea if they put it into their story and used it to their own needs.

There is something significant in that last scene in Tia's hut with the drinks I think.
T&T appear to be using many aspects of Homer's Odyssey like fiddlers green, and Circe the Witch, Calypso, Tiresias the blind theban prophet(AWE), the Kraken etc etc. Poseidon (sea god)
Odysseus is similar to Jack, Penelope is very similar to Elizabeth and Will is similar to Telemacus and Achillies it seems (achillies was in Homer's illiad)

there MAY be something to that. but from what we know, i think she was just too sad to drink. you know like when you're really depressed and you don't want to eat?
but even if there was something to that, well, like what? do you think she might've given them a potion so that they wouldn't die or something like that?
