PS I dont consider Jack's death a black moment...cuz it usually happens in one go and we see them come back in that very scene. Jack's death is another narrative device sometimes used on main characters.."sleeping beauty" moment...Jack's time to rest and reflect in his purgatory..
The point is all character change and developed. Jack is still Jack, but he is reborn as a new man. He sees everything in a different light now. You cant have Jack Sparrow the same character all the time, its useless and boring.
The first movie was an introduction of the characters
DMC focused on Jacks character, though it was morelike Liz point of view, It focused on his character alot and he developed byt the end of the movie.
AWE could also change Jack a bit more too, but it wont bring him back his old character. Its like vomiting and eaitng your vomit again.

I imply nothing, you assume, there's a difference.
