you dont think LUTHOR would develop a form of espionage within a year that could counteract xavier's?

people forget that Charles is one of the premere intellects on Marvel Earth. he is not only the most powerful telepath on earth, he is one of the smartest and most ruthless people on earth. he is just under Doom, Reed, and Iron-Man is tech and prep .

he's no where near as smart as Tony let alone Reed and Doom or Lex.

Espionage is allowed but the 2 players can only act after the year of prep is over ... so no Charles Xavier driving Lex crazy in the head within the year of prep or Lex Luthor throwing Doomsday at Charles Xavier's ass after two weeks of preptime ... 😎

If I remember correctly. Lex already has defenses against telepaths. I could be wrong on that one though.

Uh...that right but what stopping Xavier from tapping into Reed, Tony, Forge and Hank Pym's brains to make some kind of ultimate armor that puts his mental abilities on the level of Galactus.

Think about it, Lex is smart but is Lex smarter then the combined mental abilities of Reed, Tony, Forge, Xavier, Pym, T'Challa and all the mental giants on Marvel's Earth.

Don't get me wrong I not saying Lex couldn't gather his own group of super-brains but in my humble opinion, Forge gives Marvel a slight edge

actually you obviously don't know about Brainiac 5 then. he's smarter than Reed Richards. or Dr. Sivana or T. O Morrow or the guy that created Amazo, etc.

There really isn't anything to suggest that X is any less than the other great intellects of the MU. He just focuses his mental resources in a different way. He also probably doesn't want to tip his hand, either. And according to recent events, we all know that X is more than a bit shady. Plus he's got all that Shiar tech around, which tends to be greater than virtually all others in 616. Plus, if this takes place someplace other than 616 Earth, Xavier's personal power will be greatly increased.

Something to think about...

With a year of prep, Xavier gets the X-Men together and calls in some favors from the Illuminati.

Lex is a villian. People hate him.

seriously Lex could get Dr. Sivana, TO Morrow, and the guy who created Amazo to create another Amazo. and he'd steal that Kryptonian battleship again and use it. and he'd have created his own army of metahumans as he can give superpowers to whoever he wants as in 52 currently. The guy's a supergenius. Xavier is smart but he's no Tony Stark or Reed Richards.
