If he actually did I suppose, but he could use members of the team or the environment against them. He even absorbed an entire complex to make a giant suit of armor as well as an army of Box bots and an army of Sentinels.
Ok but the question still remains how long can he remain phased into his armor/metal?
Not that it will have a big outcome to the fight but it's really the only one I can think that might give X-men some sort of chance.

For-ever, unlike Bochs who I believe had a time-limit Jeffries doesn't as he can phase himself out of the armor anytime or others out of the armor as he did it to Bochs. He's actually hindered in many ways if he stays in the Box armor, as he doesn't have a broader manipulation when he is out of it. Still he can do literally anything.
