Funny, because Galactus is becoming Galactus with the Nullifier now too. 😕

Long flowing, Fabio hair on the guys.
Opera gloves and thigh highs on the gals.

The whole tights/spandex thing.

Yeah...Hulk always gettin slapped around. What's the point of being Hulk then? Like having everyone beat Flash in races.

the cliche stand toqether pose at the end of a story arc. usually takes place in front of somethinq trite and equally cliched like an american flaq, a rock face leadinq off to nowhere, fiery husk of a blown up (insert here) whatever but that pose has to qo.

thats actually kind of funny, i laffed out loud a little bit about the flag😄 how about the beginning of the story arc everyone is playing baseball or having snowball fights until their HQ comes under attack, and you see different panel shots of some working in a lab, or on a car or those who are lovers making out.

which leads to the second. if you're on a super team you have to "hook up" with at least one team mate, and fall madly, and truly in love with another.

or when big cosmic level threats are going down, street levelers are still able to make a difference, and somethimes end up being the big heroes who save the day.

you hear that one of your super hero buddies has a personal score to settle with someone from thier past, but instead of minding your own business you rush after them to "stop" them from doing something "stupid", and to also remind them that [insert name of super team] is their family now, and if you kill you are no better than the bad guys are, and there is always another way

Well, THAT'S not eerily specific...

Anyways, I think the most pertinent comics cliche to take all cakes is this:

No one in comics ever stays dead. Except Uncle Ben. And even he pushes it sometimes.

Horrible childhoods.

and orphans.

Pregnancies that don't result in real children.

The babies are always either reveled as never being real babies or are aged up to sullen teenagers within a few moments.

Either way once they come out of their mothers they discard the women who just birthed them.

Another thing I hate is all these babyteens. They are only really a few years old in reality but they all are aged up in to teenagers asap so that they become interesting.

Why arn't these children all insane?

Mysterious villain that turns out to be someone the hero knows. I was particularly flabbergasted when the crime-boss Rose (one of them) was revealed to be none other that Jacob Conover; a former columnist of Daily Bugle.

official taker of all cakes:

some bad ass uber villain who's normally known for his prowess as a mighty tactician spends weeks, months, somtimes years, concocting the most diabolical plots in the history of the lot, planning for every outcome, and calculating every contingency to the 5th decimal point. Starts out well with the execution, but have it all go to shit in one afternoon cuz he cant resist the urge to make a grand announcement to the hero community, and blab to the heroes as they battle

wouldnt it be funny that if a villain spends years plotting for a hero, the day before he starts his master plan, the hero is hit by a bus or something and killed?

villain: "all those years. my God, I've wasted my life"

Lack of bad-ass British heroes.

Were a country too ya know !
