Know what I sayin'?

This is a guess, but I think you're saying "know what I saying?" many, many times.

That what you sayin?

Im not sure if by this thread, you are implying that this is a good thing, or a bad thing.

So what if the majority is white. Why is there an assumption majority of white people will be racist?

That ain what he sayin!

Being that Massachusetts is like 90% White on top of which it's one of the most racist states in the nation -I would know, i live here- I was shock to know that Deval Patrick (D) , a black guy, won a post that has never had a person of color.

He's the first African American to be a Mass. Governor ever since the states' inception in the early 1600's.

Although I fear for his life, he should do a fine job until he's assassinated, lol.

Just kiddin'. He'll be fine... I think.

Even though you live in Massachusetts and I don't, I'm calling bullshit on your claim that it's one of the most racist states. Because it's preposterous. With two Democratic Senators and all 10 of its Representatives also Democrats (the party of tolerance), as well as one of those Representatives being a gay Jew, and being the only state that allows gay marriage, I think we can assume that Massachusetts is one of the most progressive states in the union.

So how, exactly, do you back the racist claim up?

I agree with Strangelove, I live in Boston and have never seen any of this racism you speak of. Ever been to Tennessee? I suggest you visit and count how many times you hear the N word said by a white person.

Besides of course Deval Patrick won, he's a democrat in a Bush bashing blue state. And as for the other candidates, Kerry Healy's a bi.tch and who the hell's gonna take Cristy Mihos seriously?

Jeez FoTN...are you sure you live in the same Massachusetts as I do? There's like no racism where I live...😕

*edit* well then, someone beat me to pointing this out...in which case, I'm agreeing with the post above me

Not to beat a dead horse, but...

If you moved in with FOTN, you'd see it.

"Darkie in charge of Massachusetts."

Massachusetts, although a blue state, has been a Republican run state for the past 16 years. The White liberal leftists you've just mentioned are not as blatantly racist as Whites in the south are but they are the closet type.

When you hear of diversity in Mass. it's BS. It's all a lie and just politics as usual. The progress you hear about in Mass. only refers to gays mainly. But other than that, especially in the racial department, progress is dead. Come visit and you'll see.

I've been to Topsfield, Mass. every Christmas since I was 4 and a few summers in between.

Never seen an instance of racism yet and I'm the darkest person I know the entire time I'm there.

I live in Boston as well but you must be blind or turning a blind eye or something because you must be in denial if you've never seen any racism in this city.

Oh and I'm sure the majority of White folk in Tennessee are racist, I never doubted it. Down there it's direct but up here it's indirect.

And to correct you it's the first black Democrat in a state that was republican run for more than a decade. And Kerry Healy, I've never even seen her around people of colors so she is who she is, i guess. And Christy's a clown so...

And where in Mass. do you live, if you don't mind?

Topsfields' in the boonies here in Mass., where racism is at a higher grade.

Do this. Walk in one of the neighborhoods at night or even dusk and get back to me with your report. I bet just by you casually strolling around there, within minutes you'll see how often you'll see police cruisers hovering around your path giving you threatening looks followed by some form verbal and maybe afterwards, physical harassment. And Whites cops from the boonies are the worst.

I think it just goes to show that, as a whole, people from Massachusetts would rather have a black man in office than a republican. Even if they are racist, I think the fact that he's a democrat outweighs any other aspect of his being.

It's good to know that this kind of racism has been pinpointed and singled out. Congrats! Now if you'll excuse me, I believe I left my car on Compton Avenue and plan on picking it up about 10PM tonight. See you all tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure you invent racism whereever it's convenient at the time.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, but certainly not in Massachusetts of all places. And by the way, just because the state has had a Republican Governor for 16 years doesn't make the entire state instantly racist.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure most of them are named Jebediah and do hate them colored folk.

I'm also making the assumption that FotN is slightly paranoid and self-conscious about his race. To fulfill this paranoia, I think 'know what I sayin'?" should become the new state motto of Mass. because their governor is black. This comes from the fact that every time I hear a poor black man between the ages of 18 and 30, or a rap star, interviewed he can't make a statement without following it with 'know what I sayin'?' like it's a mental tic. If the black governor of Massachusetts was a woman, this would not be applicable since I rarely hear black females saying it.

Know what I sayin?

So basically you're saying every white person is racist, even if they give no indication of being racist whatsoever, they must be secretly be racist. If they deny being racist - that proves it. If they promote progressive policies- that proves it. If they don't really care either way - that proves it. Because everyone hates black people. Ever thought maybe they just don't like you?

Aww silly rabbit, disdain for FotN doesn't mean disdain for you is any less. There's enough to go around.
