I know.....we have watched her grow under Jack's suprevision....she would not be who she is today if not for Jack, this "i'm everything I am because you loved me"..that song is so appropriate.....
She owes everything to Jack....everything..her life, her son....Jack sacrificed everything for her....and I hope if there is a POTC 4....she and Will come to realize it....i'm hoping they can reverse that after the credits clip...so that the son ends up being Jack's.....the smile is on Will's face because he sees Liz and her son and realizes what a good deed he did releasing her and allowing her to be with the man she was truly meant to be with..Captain Jack Sparrow...
that is why Will's desitny lies with ferrying lost souls to the afterworld...and jack and liz's destiny is to be together on land....Will and Liz were never meant to be together....that's why fate intervened....don't they get it...ugghhh.......will's and liz's paths crossed..but their destinies were never joined...he needs to learn a thing or two from the former Commodore....
I know i agree with Willo even from Pirates 1 Liz and Jack have been inseperable...they always end up alone somewhere somehow! Throughout the movies we've seen Jack and Liz's relationship build and develop which is why in AWE when they just shoved that away it was weird...and obviously missing since it left eben critics saying well what happened to the Jack and Liz moments! They built there relationship and then it stopped!!
I don't know if they just all of sudden made the relationship go stagnant, but there was a great opportunity missed there and I would have appreciated just a couple of things being addressed. We can infer a lot of things, but you don't want to make the audience guess everything. Sometimes they need some "info-logue."
IMO i think they just wanted to clear the path and make it easy for Liz and Will to end up together and the only way to do that is to get rid of the other man that ruled her Heart, Jack Sparrow. So they cut all their scenes, and didnt have them interact with each other much because a small scene with them is BOOMING with Chemistry!!!
The thing about Keira and Johnny is that they know how to act with their eyes!! You can tell so much just by looking into their eyes and that is how they brought Jack and Liz'z relationship into the picture...because honestly they never say what they feel to each other, but their eyes say it all, their eyes tell a story! and their whole relationship is based on the way they LOOK at each other! And i love that so much about them, because they dont need to say anything, they just know!
Like in AWE right after they sunk the Endevour and the armada starts to turn away and all the Pirates start cheering for Victory there is a small moment where Liz is smiling and she turns to look at Jack for a second then turns away and right after she turns away Jack turns to look at her and then looks away!! Its like they both care and at that very moment I know they would have loved to give each other a hug, but instead they kept their distance because they know they can never be no matter how they feel! 😍
Very true, a missed opportunity. Given what they wanted to write, now that we know the entire story, there was no point in opening up a romance between the two of them. Was there? Don't you think Jack and Liz are both smart enough and adventurous enough that they could find a task to do on the way to the chest without borderline falling in love? Yes, I know, Jack's a sexual creature and here he is with a virgin of all things, but there is a line between flirting and what they were doing. They never had to kiss, they never had to delve so deep into Liz's psyche as to imply she's not happy with how she is and she wants something more, something that doesn't involve marrying Will and leading the life of a saint. Even if all of that were true, it didn't have to be Jack that saw that in her.
I don't think they fell apart in AWE. They moved into that comfortable zone with each other. They were much more at ease with each other than they were in the first two movies, and while that may be because they got over each other and decided to be friends, that's also a natural course that romantic relationships go. The hormones stop giving off that euphoria, but you get into that soulmate, knowing stage with each other. It's just as good, and from experience, it's better, so it's unfair for people to say that there is no way they could still be in love. I'm still not sure about Liz, but I think Jack will always be willing to take her.
✅ ✅ Like when Liz sees her dad on the ship while sailing back to the "land of the living" and he looks at her and she at him and she immediately knows what he's trying to say, this kinda happens alot in AWE, I mean, the whole "with the eyes and not with words" thing, especially between Jack and Liz...I think... 😉
i am hoping to god that they put all of the deleted scenes into AWE...
and then once that dvd has come out they are bound to bring out the other "trilogy" set, with all 3 films and extra stuff....like MORE stuff ontop of everything else in the AWE extra stuff.
Hey, they might even give us some deleted scenes from DMC...maybe...hopefully...lol 🙂

i 100% agree with this....and Ilove that scene where they both smile and feel triumphant...t and t always talk about Liz and will knowing things and understanding without having to talk..but funny thing is..Jack and Liz are even more so that way...especially in AWE...they know what each other is thinking, feeling...they are connected..there is a strong bond between Jack and lIz...and you are so right...if they would have even one of those deleted j/e scenes...it would have made it even all that much harder to comprehend the w/e marriage and stuff in the end....I hate it, really I do....It's not Over.....
