Kate, if this was the way POTC4 went then it would be sure to be a blockbuster......what a fabulous story...how exciting and funny it could be....how about the Pirate King kidnaps Jack and forces him to be her sex slave....LOL....
anyways, I still can think of many different scenarios for those 10 years that can explain away the ending of AWE.....

I really Loved this story!!! Talk about Happy endings!!! I wont spoil it for u....but you guys have to read this story!!! AMAZING!!! Jack gets everything I ever wanted for him!! I cried!!! Its intense and liberating at the same time! *sigh* I wish i could see this on film!!

I read the new chapter of Savarna too...talk about 'finally'! I do love the denial though...makes it sweeter once they finally realize they've been stupid all along.

I'm actually very glad you did back flips on this one becos it could do the trick, provide a lovely platform for as far as I'm concerned for the next part of the story. Got some questions however, the author turns phrases so beautifully that just one sentence will cause you to sigh and tearcry. The author's description of Teague and the relationship with his son, wowie zowie Batman. Gotta love something that can make you believe what you are reading with such ferocity and devotion. Man...

When someone shares what's happy/neat/wowie to them, it's mostly just good Miz PirateDiva--I tease you over this--we are all nothing if not excitable, eh? Besides I in the ship of reading the last paragragh of anything I've ever read in my life. Nobody spoils it for me in literature--the two movies I've seen with a secret CRYING Game and Sixth Sense--were both secrets kept and true. Pretty neat story the author writ.

So Much to Learn on fanfiction.net has my nomination. It is so far one of the best I've ever read. What do people look for in a sparrabeth fic? Here is what I look for.
1. Length. Sorry, but just based on who this couple is, it's going to take a while for them to seriously bring their feelings to the forefront. I'd rather something be building and building and then explode rather than make it too easy.
2. Explanation of Will. It's fine if he dies or doesn't exist, but I really hate ones where he turns into some wife beater or is hell bent on making Liz's life miserable or things like that. Come on, people, be nice to him.
3. Story. Fluff is good, but there needs to be a storyline. Pirates can't just sail idly by not doing anything.
4. Humor. This is Jack we're talking about.
5. Supporting cast is good. Like a lot of us have said that POTC4 won't be good without Will and Liz and Gibbs and Barbossa and al of them, fanfictions are no fun if they don't have great supporting characters that can do things.
6. Passion. Not just romantically. Just passion for life. Most of them have this.
7. Well written. I think I've heard, "She was feeling this" and "And this is what she answered," and have come across so many misspellings. It's distracting, and the first rule of writing is to show and not tell. Give me images and sounds so I will feel like I'm there.
8. Original ways of describing, narrating any kissing, passionate glances, dancing, love-making, etc.

There are a bunch of different categories you can nominate different fics for. Please take a gander at the rules before nominating though as there have been a lot of mishaps in nominating etc.
Oh I'll think a bit before I nominate a few but I agree with willo. The only thing I hate more than a Marysue story is a poorly written JE story. Either Elizaveth falls in Jack's arms magically...Will starts beating the hell out of Elizabeth or Jack turns into some serious guy who is serious almost all the time except for a few failed attempts at humor by the author...

Great! Yeah, some really good stories have been nominated so far, I haven't had a chance to read all of them yet. What I like is that the winner is determined via popular vote, so the really good fics (even if some so-so ones are nominated) get rewarded 🙂 Thanks for the support, I can't wait to see your nominations 😄
