Nice story, tigers. I really think that there will be a POTC 4, judging from what TnT said during the session at piratediva's school. Also from interviews with Johnny and Geoffrey Rush, there is a big possibility. HOWEVER, Orlando and Keira will not be back, going by their interviews. We can only hope money can change Keira's mind.

IF POTC 4 comes true and Keira doesn't come back, then i want Kate Beckinsale to be the new pirate lady. I really think she can have a good chemistry with Johnny. BUT POTC 4 must acknowledge Lizzy's impact on Jack during the trilogy, otherwise it would just be strange.

According to Empire magazine, Keira probably would have to have something other than money to sweet talk her into doing another one. She obviously isn't retiring because she's going to be in Silk Road and Atonement, the latter of which she's predicted to be nominated for another award. They asked her about her POTC experience since those were the movies that made her a star, and she said that she loved working with everyone and she loved doing the stunts, but it was too hectic a process for her. She didn't like working without a script and I guess the scheduling just exhausted her. She mentioned a specific instance where she was filming her scene with Chao Yun Fat and she had no idea why she (Elizabeth) was there. She told the magazine they filmed the scene and someone asked her, "Why are you making Elizabeth seem terrified." She answered that she guessed Liz got kidnapped, and they were like "no, no, no, that's not what's happened at all." So I don't know if she would feel doing another POTC movie would be too much for her.

i'm sure she was also quite confused as to why Elizabeth went from having exotic thoughts about Jack to...cold turkey.....from kissing Jack with Passion...to chasing Will...and weird how not at one time did they mention that Will witnessed the kiss between jack and liz.....and....why do i keep rehasing this...it's senseless...I can't much blame Keira...i think it will take alot of money, good script...and a total wipe-out of AWE...maybe it was just one big nightmare of Elizabeth's, one can only hope...wish...dream....

LOL....Tell Keira that if she does another Pirate Movie she will be able to kiss Johnny again!! Tell her its gonna be Sparrabeth and I have NO DOUBT she'll be on Board and do another Pirate Movie!!! lol!!!

And speaking of that hectic schedule incident...I also heard too that Since they were filming 2 movies at once and it was so confusing that they spent all day filming an entire scene with Keira in the wrong wardrobe (outfit) for that part in the movie! lol...they had to go back and reshoot it! It must have sucked!!

If Indiana Jones 4 works out, I think there might still be hope for POTC 4. Batman 4 worked out, so did Die Hard 4 although Superman 4 wasn't too hot (wrong actress to play Lois Lane). I agree with tigers - good script, good chemistry among the leads and good money would make POTC 4 a success. I think people still haven't had enough of Jack Sparrow as yet.

I certainly haven't had my fill of Jack Sparrow! 😉 My hope would be that POTC4 would be more like COTBP, more insights into his character, a intricately spun plot - not as busy as it was in DMC and AWE. *sigh* If only.....

Awww....look at Jack and how he is looking at Elizabeth...if I were Elizabeth (as most women would do) I would have said forget boring old Will, I'm going with this sexy, good hearted Pirate that loves me and I love him....

Part of why the goodbye between Jack and Liz is hard to watch for me is Jack's expressions. He really seems to be struggling to play it cool, which is fun in an angsty way, but it's just so hard for me to sit through because it's so emotional. True enough, I feel the same way about Will dying (I have a soft spot for the whelp) but that scene just kills me too.

Strangely, I still feel Sparrabeth hasn't ended. Maybe I'm in denial but the so-called goodbye didn't have a finality to it. The Will/Liz story definitely ended but the Jack/Liz story has a 99.99% chance of being open and to be continued in POTC 4. The ambiguity could leave room for more creative manuvoering by TnT. If Keira comes back and Disney wants to do POTC 4, then Sparrabeth can have a chance. If Keira doesn't come back but there's POTC 4, the Jack/Liz story will be mentioned only, I suppose.

That Jack/Liz good bye scene broke my heart.He smiles but his eyes are sad.

I just realized something, that probably had been mentioned or speculated upon before - does it look like Jack has a tear running down his cheek when he is kissing Elizabeth on the Pearl at the end of DMC? I never caught it before, but when I was watching it today - his cheeks look wet (not from plain water, but like the character was crying) and has a single tear down his right cheek. It could just be my imagination or just leftover seawater from the Kraken attack, but I wanted to see what you guys thought 😄 I'll try and get a good screencap of it...

Oh i know as much as i hate to admitt yes the Whelps Death gets to me too!!

And i wont even say how the Jack/Liz kiss affects me...all i have to say Is honestly, seriously, all joking aside i think i have a problem (an addiction) I've had obsessions before but never like this! I seem to be loseing my hair, i cant sleep, i'd rather be reading or writing a Jack/Liz fic than to eat! its bad guys...I went to the doctor about it and we reviewed the list of possible hair lose causes, i had blood test done and i have nothing wrong, so i concluded its the stress is over Jack n Lizzie, at night i toss and turn all night and when i wake up in the morning i get a sense that i've been going over possible plot lines in my sleep for a fanfic, ive stop my partying ways (well for the most part to be at home writing), sometimes i feel like i need to get home and get my fix...I love them so much am getting myself sick and i think part of it is because they have resolution in the movie!! Fics are satisfying to a certain point but my need for closure really needs to come from an actual movie!!

I'm just hoping its a fase, or im experiencing derranged symptoms of being in a writers state of mind!! lol

Wow cant believe i admitted that!! Help Me!! Some one please!! lol

Ok maybe i did say how Jack and Liz affects me...lol!
