For your benefit, my Mom majored in ESL, which is British. And everyone is too scared to talk to me, even my mom, bc they say I can talk. I never was able to think @ the accents. I know a lot @ accents bc I did singing and took diction in college. Mm... It was interesting. It was easy!! I got it all perfect. It was fun. It's a big part of PotC btw if anyone is knowledgable. I should make it a thread if I can think of one. I know all @ accents over the US, etc, bc that's the prejudice I live for. A reliable source said I have no accent and how ppl from FL don't have one. You should be able to tell from my posts. Do I sound like I'm 90's kid?

(15m)I got perfect in reading aloud when I was in school and at home always. That's also me. If'n ya don't mind. Sadly, I always felt I was the best simply. I was so lonely. I never felt I could reach my full potential still. I mean that was what ppl told me.... (that I was perfect and the best, and in it!) I'm like goin craaazy ppl think I'm the opp of what I am just bein friendly here.... It's a rule ppl think they don't have to think @ anything. Miz Savvy, here's what I think--I am, as I examine, himself, the fair dinkum amount of clothing he has on in your lovely shot of himself and the various and sundry weaponry and who knows what the heckydo else--it would take another movie for there to be any "their" cos it would take days, I'm thinking to "excavate" the man to his skin!! Or else you would just have to selectively decide that you really liked his elbows, let's imagine, and strive to unearth those....

I said before, coat, vest, hat, baldric, sash, little furry whosit at his waist, flint, tinder, powder horn, compass, pistol, belt, boots--boots being a very big deciding factor in when and how--satisfactorily, uniquely, expediently, tastefully, efficiently paring this captain down to his skivvies--pack a lunch and bring a flashlight, lol it's gonna be a while.....

oh, and the little clothes he wears on his hands--having sailed the little bit I have, when you are working lines (no ropes on boats) or handling the helm, you want something that will protect your palm and allow for a safer hold on said lines, in case they are taken out of your hands by the wind whatever--you don't want that line zipping through your grip next to nekkid flesh--it will make a deep and nasty cut in a blink. So, it's the 1700s version of my neoprene racing gloves.

I'm not obsessed; simply adore their undeniable chemistry Barrett. Much like in the books that I'm reading, Twilight between Edward & Bella, but that's a whole other story

I kind of like not being 15 or 16 bc my d***ed life is nearer over is all. Or maybe bc Johnny Depp is cooler than Orlando Bloom (no comparison, just saying) and I'm not ages behind, if that isn't gross or whatever. Typical. I don't really care; it doesn't really matter.

But I'm serious @ the part where Johnny Depp is cooler than Orlando Bloom (not serious that it's true by my standards.)

At least the ppl who are younger than me are cool.

And what do you think @ his hand?? That mark is sure disgusting for one thing to start off w/.

Sigh, it just makes you wonder why that black spot appears when it does. Does it just randomly show up? Does it show up when Jack is intensely scared or angry or in this case turned on? I think it was just a good cop-out for the writers to build suspense until the actual kiss.

I thought Curiosity was as close as we would get to them kissing and maybe they would in the third movie. The commentary on DMC seems to suggest that one member of T&T (I think Ted) thinks Elizabeth would not have allowed Jack to go any further but the other (I think Terry) says he feels Elizabeth really wanted him to kiss her. I personally think she would have let him kiss her, but would have caught herself and either slapped him or break away awkwardly. Any thoughts? Oh, and by thoughts, I mean relevant ones by coherent people.

Please, anyone other than me answer, but I had to get this bc I so know the answer and love being coherent as much as possible. 🙂 If I also can remember what I thought. I am curious if anyone else knows the answer..

I know a little: from my experience, kind of touchy, but not really.., when I was trying to help a little in the 1920s fanfic if I could w/ my fanfic, but maybe I'm too dumb to know, bc I don't, but I wanted to go further when I wrote PotC fanfic, but I couldn't. I'm tired and hungry, which is not my fault for different reasons. But I don't think that was all.

I mean, I tried including romance scenes, but something just wasn't there. I didn't post any more of course bc I grounded it to reality and only want to post something good really.

...If they couldn't go further that means they were too tired to think of it - no? Nuf said?

Now, why they are tired is the topic. Kind of makes me fall over, but I'm kind of actually waiting to see what other ppl say.
