Ok heres the one shot. I was reading this fanfiction, on how he got that cloth--lizzie asked about it. Jack told Liz that it was from a woman that he met whom he loved, but didn't love him back. Im not going to go into all the details--just the important ones. So Liz felt sad about the story, she took jacks knife and tore a piece of cloth from her dress. She removes the old cloth from Jack, and replaces it with a new fabric pice of her own.
This is just a fanfiction. I found it very interesting and very creative. Too creative. Because the explanation was great. And all of the sudden, the cloth thing appears and it says that its from a woman he met. It has to be a coincidence...or something. I dunno...I don't blame you if you think im crazy.

That's so... romantic. *sighs* *wants "the woman he met" to be Elizabeth*
But what if she didn't necessarily give it to him, he could've filched it any time?

I got this answer from someone about the lace on Jack's wrist and check this out....
here is a strip of lace he is wearing in DMC. It is not the same cloth that he took from Leech to cover the blackspot. The only information given is that the lace was given to him by a lady he had "been with" as a token to remember her. A sort of trophy, worn by Jack, given to him by her. We do not know who she is, only that she is "a lady", not a wench or lady of the night.
Also, on the extras on the DVD's, one of the rings that Jack is wearing, is actually said to be a ring that he stole from a Spanish widow, after he ************ . So Jack has not been all that lonely in the year that has passed. It may be the black onyx flower ring. They hold it up on the extras. I'm sorry, but I don't remember which segment it was on. I have the two set DVD. Hope that helps.
