Sparrabeth

Oh Forbidden.....i love that word...no wonder i love Jack and Liz!!! Ahhhhhh!!

Hi.I think Jack and Liz are much better together, than Will and Liz.Look at the two movies we've seen:they can be themselves when together,i mean they don't need to pose and act to each other.Lizzy doesn't have to behave like a proper lady in a corset, and i think Jack feels himself a better man when she's around him. What ever is going to happen in AWE I hope nether of them wiil be unhappy.
When Jack answers Elizebeth in the spoiler 'keep telling that yourself darling',I think he knows well why he's saying that, because when in the first movie he says 'It would have never have worked between us darling',after he left Port Royal he kept telling that to himself all the time.

yeah, although i think in the first movie it was really more meant like a joke from jack, cause he knew exactly she would never have allowed some serious feelings about this.. to be honest, i don´t think in awe will be some good sparrabeth scenes (like in dmc), but i could imagine they continue the jack/liz thing in one of the following movies. but of course i keep the faith for awe, with johnny as jack sparrow it can only be awesome 🙂

I'm not sure either if there will be a Sparrabeth ending, though I hope so.I just don't see then why were these things in DMC refering to it,for example: the compass thing, the wedding interrupted, fate intervenes, Jack vexed by Elizabeth, the attraction between the two ofthem etc.

Although one of the first drafts of the first movie that Ted and Terry did had this:

JACK
I'm sure. When you've led the kind of life that I have, there are debts that must be paid. Maybe I can balance the scales a little.

Will nods, hesitates ... gives Jack his sword -- now Jack has two, one for each hand. Elizabeth gives him a quick kiss.

then later:

EXT. ISLA DE MUERTA - BEACH - NIGHT - LATER

Jack, Will and Norrington gather together on the beach.

Elizabeth calls out:

ELIZABETH
You're all right!

The three men turn as one. An awkward moment -- which of them does she mean?

And the line about it not working out by Jack wasn't in it at all.

Wow.Elizabethgives a short little kiss to Jack.No wonder they left it out from the movie.

Huh, I've just read this thread. I didn't know that there are lots of J/L fans. Because almost everyone I know is W/E fan. I thought if I am strange, but thank to this forum I know that I am not 🙂

since I saw DMC I'm a J/E fan.Can't help it.

W/E fan all the way.

J/E just won't happen.

Truly, at the end, I still support Will-Elizabeth love.
It started at the very first moment in POTC 1, and they shall end together in AWE.

Let me tell you, even if I'm aJ/E fan it doesn't mean I dont like Will. He's acute and fantastic person.I love Norrie as well (he was great in the second movie). But Jack is the best.

everyone is entitled to their opinions i guess.

Im a J/E shipper. its just that (theres that word again!) FORBIDDEN relationship...the kind that feels right and wrong all at the same time...the one where you never know where you stand...the kind where you are arguing one minute and then falling into bed together the next...exciting stuff 😄

W/E is safety...
J/E is dangerous...

its just my opinion, but ive always found liz's obsession with pirates as a strange inkling....

Your right Maria. E/W is a safe relationship. They have the Navy protecting them and all.

While J/E is a adventure type. One that you sail the 7 seas with.

i like your thinking! 😄

I think the E/W relationship is the DISNEY side of the story...

J/E is the writers and directors side of the story lol 🙂

Dont get me wrong; will is alright.

But (and this is MHO and no offence is meant) when i was watching his scenes with davy/his dad/the flying dutchman I almost fell asleep 😮

Will is good with characters around him that can take a scene...
But will taking the main stand in a scene doesn't really work for me...

E.G

Cannibal island - in the cages i thought he was hilarious! The charatcers were lively and they blended really well.

Flying dutchman - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Every scene, unfortunately, up until hes on the beach with jack/liz/norrie.

I was also VERY disappointed at his reaction to seeing his father for the first time!

It was like;

"Oh...there you are..."

When it should have been more like;

"OMFG! You've been alive all this time, and you didnt even bother to get in touch?! And what about my child benefits, eh? Wheres my child support money?!"

...i guess there just wasnt enough emotion for me 🙁

You're absolutely right. 🙂

Omgosh, T.! I completly agree with the whole when-will-met-his-father-it-was-the-most-boring-and-unreactive-reaction. It should have been this big gigantic thing! It was built up, like Will, you look like your father, and blah blah blah your father, and then he finally sees him after all those years and he's just like, yeah, ok.

yeah... there are indeed LOTS of j/l shippers🙂 i wish i could stay a little longer and talk to you guys but i write my biology exam tomorrow 🙁 there is still so much to do...

That's because they weren't told that they would be swinging around. 😛

lmao! i didnt know that!!! 😄

well then that explains it!!! 😄

it was so weird because even in DMC there was a build up...

jack telling 'dad' about his son...(i had goosebumps at that point)

Mr Barnicle Turner shouting "He's my son!!"
...and then whipped him...

And what did Will do?

He gave him "a look" 😆

Id give my dad more than a bloody 'look' if he abondoned me for a bloody pirate ship lmao! 😄

Yeah,on the behinde the scenes bone cage,

Orlando(in the cage): This thing going to move?!
Director:Yeah.
Orlando: No way!
Director: We don't really know what will happen,we haven't tested it yet.
