She didn't go after him for his money (well not at first).
She went for him because he was being all "nice" to her and she was fed up of Clark having secrets. Even though it was blatantly obvious that Clark cared for Lana and could obviously be trusted whilst anyone with half a brain could see Lex was clearly a manipulator.
Even if it was for the money, that's just more proof she wasn't half the woman Chloe was.

Wouldn't go so far as to say "fan" but i've seen the movies and read all but the 1st book. Being a security officer gives you an assload of free time and i needed to see what all the fuss was about

I never read a book...LOL honestly i was taking a blind shot in the dark at any twilight fans.
I did see a movie with the ole lady of course and brought my beer and slept through it mostly.
I aint used to seeing emotional vampires let alone gap models being vampires for that matter that glow in the sun.
when I woke up, every woman in the theatre was crying and i was refreshed from my Heineken nap.
