My goodness man will you calm down. You take this so personally.
He clearly wasnt making a homosexual joke, he was pointing out a simple fact.
Directors (sadly) tend to be BIASED like most of you in this forum and make movies/stories the way they live. its not a joke, personal attack or gay bashing, its the truth.
We understand clearly that you will not tolerate discussing sexual prefrence.
Were discussing movies and comics and how much some of them suck badly man.
Singer just seems to add his own agenda to his films and ole Jedi 09 pointed it out.
I'm not taking anything personally.
When a mod asks you to do something, you're supposed to do it, that's all.

No need to flex your Mod Muscles. But nobody has to do anything.
as in "were supposed to do it".
I understand your position but there was no violation in the past few replies from anyone.
Stay your sword PR, it isnt that serious.

I asked that it not be brought up again. It was brought up. Seems pretty clear to me.

Ok lets take a look shall we:
(quote from Jedi90)
"thor had cute girls but the movie was aimed at males and general public. Singer doesn't like hot chicks so he gave you hot guys"
Now maybe this is another case of you and I not seeing eye to eye on a subject (IMAGINE THAT).
The man was making a point about movies, he wasnt talking about sexuality.

no one was talking about his sexuality. i was replying to the commenter who said SR didn't have any hot chicks, which it didn't.
whats funny is your moderating. how you ignore some of the flamers on the past pages, and now the conversation went into a DBZ movie watch.

No not at all. When did they start "adding" hot chicks? Lana was there from season 1. Lois came in season 4 as a semi-occuring character. She appeared more and more as a main character when it was time for Lana to leave.Supergirl only lasted 1 season. And wasn't even in many episodes in that season.
And finally Tess replaced Lex! Tbh Lex probably brought in more viewers.
So I'm really not seeing at which point they began to "add" hot girls just to bring in male viewers.
Me and many of my pals watched it from the first season. As did many of my female friends who were much older than teenagers.
you really don't want to accept this? google is your friend........many of the statistics are there online.
WB doesn't add the girls for you and your pals, they know they have your dollar regardless of the crap they put out.

Yeah true. But look at the title "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders".Like you said full of sexy blondes. Did something like Smallville have anywhere near the sex appeal of that? Like I said the whole sex appeal thing becomes more relevant when it comes to shows like that or 90210, Melrose Place e.t.c.
But even then, the hot women alone won't keep those shows going in the long run Imho.
Well for the naked women obviously. But that's why they're called STRIP Clubs. If Smallville was called Stripville then believe me there would be a whole different audience.
Well they didn't all suck. Superman 1 & 2 are both classics.
But btw by this whole argument about attractive women we'd have to say the only reason more Thor made slightly more revenue than SR was because of Natalie Portman then wouldn't we??!!
SR didn't even have a hot girl.
and SEX IN THE CITY didnt have any X rated scenes or hot women so your point?

i forgot to answer this in my last post.
you answered you own question in regards to when they started adding hot girls. look up dawn ostroff, the president of entertainment of CW who has publicly stated that:
1. ALL CW shows main target audience is women 18-34
2. that their aim is to attract more male viewers

If the conversation had gotten out of hand as regards a DBZ movie, I would have stopped it.
You're really not in a position to talk about my moderating when more people post reports about you than vice versa.

so because i go against the popular opinion in this forum, folks trying to make frivolous reports is some how valid? what does that even have anything to do with you ignoring flamers who seem to be friends of yours and way off topic DBZ movie info?
wait, don't answer that...

Except that I, quite publicly, have shown my disdain for DBZ more often than not. If the conversation had gotten out of hand, I would have said so.
Having a different opinion isn't a problem. It never has been.

Oh I beg to differ Sir,
I recall a certain gentlemen who had a history of "lashing out at folks" as you have stated..
And between him and a many others, they get very hostile if you disagree with a point, and Hit their report button and call you names like troll, flamer ect.
Quite frankly, Im upset that none of you didnt afford me the same Happy Holidays courtesy that I sent to all of you.

Umm, Happy Holidays?
And if you are talking about who I think you're talking about, I wouldn't worry about that person being around much longer.

When a vacancy is open, the mods talk amongst themselves about who they would recommend for that section, and eventually decide on who they want to bring in.
Excellent !!
I should be taken into consideration because I am fair and impartial in heated debates, and obviously...I can speak with an english accent.
