AWE Ending

yeah those two can royally just **** off from the franchise now. Jack is better off without them in his life to constantly ruin things for him, and destroy all that is good about him..I hope Elizabeth does get shackled to the whelp as if its a prison sentence..oh funny hows she's in a prison at the start of 2 saying she's wait for will...well **** no she didnt do that..Actually I hope elizabeth dies. I hate her..she better get punished for what she did to Jack ..or at least redeem herself for HIM

Just getting him back is not enough...no way near enough..she may have brought him back but she has done a lot more damage than I think she's aware of..and she has the cheek to spit in his face when he trades her over in the leaked script the little *****

No way are they going to let her leave this trilogy without redeeming herself for Jack...no way..she will go down as a pretty disliked character..

aw, bugger. No I'm pissed at Elizabeth again, and I hadn't been that for awhile now. Bloody Stupid Girl, she better get down on her knees and beg Jack to forgive her. I agree with you LovelyOne, she has do something else be´sides bringing him back(since she was the one sending him to his death, it really doesn't count). I think her cold act towards Jack is self preservation. She knows he's a good man, she knows she wants him, she is desperately searching for ways get out of her "emotional conflict". No matter how piraty she has become, her background and her upbringing áre still a factor in her choices and the way she regards the world around her. So many of the fanfic where Elizabeth is worried about what her father might think, might that far from what's happening in the leaked script.
I was thinking about TnT's commentary about how the curiosity scene was a "game". A way for J & E to say that they want to be together but on their own terms; jack wants Elizabeth to act the pirate he knows she is, and E want Jack to act like that good man she knows he is. By the end of the movie, but terms are fulfilled. Jack did the right thing,Elizabeth acted like a pirate. Elizabeth says "I always knew you were a good man"= she acknowledged that Jack acted like she wanted him too. Jack says "pirate" to Elizabeth= acknowledged that she acted like he wanted her too. They both know it.
So basically Elizabeth is running out of excuses to be with Jack. Of course there is still Will, whom she loves and doesn't want to see hurt, but I think, she is well aware that her heart is truly with Jack, no matter how much she doesn't wan it to be. So she is trying to push him away. Which of course confuses Jack, as he (to me)seems to have accepted that he has feelings for her and that she has feelings for him.

Yeah the curiosty scene...if that was just about lust then in no way would she be talking about the kind of good man she wants him to be..that is obiously the one thing about Jack she would love and I think she has probably destroyed that now..when he first comes back from purgatory Jack is very cold hearted in the leaked draft script..she better bring that good man back or I'll hate her for an eternity

If she really a cold hearted ***** like Calypso then she will not help Jack..but if she does really love that part of him..she'll love him enough to bring him back IMO And if Will's not an entire selfish bastard he will let Liz do this..

A possible spoiler that Kate got in an email:

"Jack realizes something about himself that stems from what happened in DMC. With the help of Elizabeth and his father, he is able to overcome this struggle. It is at this moment that Elizabeth realizes where her heart truly lies."

I've heard about that spoiler before...it fits with what´'s been confirmed; that only Johnny and Keira have scenes with Keef...sounds interesting...Hopefully Elizabeth realises the right thing 😉

Will and Norrington add a politically correct gay romance into the equation, and Jack and Elizabeth decide to adopt the whores to keep Gibbs company.

Lovely, I agree...will and elizabeth can just drown and become ugly old fishfaces if they have a W/E ending...and I hope they are screaming for Jack to save them...and he is like "no, why should I can't trust either one of you".....and ride off into the sunset with his two whores and gibbs and the rest of the gang......poetic justice for those two losers who are two stupid to realize how good Jack has been for them....and everything he has ever done was to help them.....gosh I'm really hating Elizabeth right now....and I don't want to...If I knew she truly loved Jack then all would be well...

Okay, now LovelyOne, I didn't say that I DIDN'T feel sorry for Jack. I said that I felt sorry for Will as well. You can say that Will is selfish, but face it. ALL the main characters are selfish. ALL of them have done horrible things to each other. So you can't just point out Will because they are ALL guilty.

Another thing. How can you ensure true love between Jack and Elizabeth? I mean...come on. After COTBP, Liz and Will were doing there own thing, about to get married. Then all of a sudden Jack came into the picture and Liz got all flirty with him. What? We're talking about a couple of days spent together! Are you serious. I don't care how much you like someone, you cannot fall in love in a matter of days. It's just NOT going to happen. Now..I am a strong J/L shipper, but there has to be a line between what I WANT and what is REAL. Haven't you ever just been with a bad guy who's hot and just teased him for the fun of it? Well, maybe you have..maybe you haven't, but the point is- Liz is a young women. And every young women is infatuated every once in a while. She did it with Will and now Jack.

Also, I NEVER EVER thought that Jack didn't have any true feelings or have emotions toward anybody. I feel wrong for you even assuming that I think that and if that vibe came across you, I'm sorry. There are certain people who show their emotions in different ways. Will wears his heart on his sleeve. Liz is a little discrete and Jack is just...JACK. He's nice in his own little way. I don't think it's him being un-caring. It's just his personality. He's spontaneous, outgoing, and brave.

Maaaaan I'm just going to say this plain and simple:

I truely feel sorry for Will because he has been missing his father. His main goal ever was to find his father. Sure he fell in love with Liz and what not but he always wanted to be with his father. He wasnt missing Liz in his life, it was his father!! That incompleteness Will felt is because he has never met his daddy.

All these characters have like an incompleteness. The Trio seems like theres something missing. IMO Jack and Liz are suited for eachother bc they both seem to relate somewhat. Sure they are different, different class, different opinions(in some) but they are so alike. I think they both fill eachother-that incompleteness thats missing. For Will, the only thing was missing was his father. Liz came in his way and yeah he fell in love, but I dont think that never filled that emptiness in his heart.

Well IMO at the end of DMC Liz's feelings for Jack were more than just lust. She was obviously having strong feelings for him. I don't really feel sorry for Will, but I feel sorry for Jack, he obviously needs love and somebody that cares for him. IMO thats what Jacks has been searching all along, he's had a though live, thats why he is, the way he is. Hence, like when he freed the slaves, he though he was doing the right thing, IMO thats were his whole aspect of freedom comes from. Anyways that action got him in trouble, he reveal against Becket, for what he though was a noble cause, which in fact it was. But, that only got him more problems. Jack wants to be this fearsome man, that in fact he isn't. He has layers, he is a good person. Thats why everyone seems to get the best of him, he trust people easily and he always gets fu$#$ed up. Therefore, I really expect to see his character to become more colder and heartless in AWE. As far as Liz, well she sometimes can be a pea brain, who the hell knows what she wants. She's so damn unpredictable. But from what I saw at the end of DMC, was that she was having strong feelings for him. She may try to hide those feelings maybe because Jack does something that would questioned her, whether or not he really is that good man. And she may try to kill those feelings along the way, because she may think that Jack would not feel the same way she does. As far as Will, I really don't give a hoot. He wants his father, thats always been his priority. Therefore, if Jack chooses Will I really won't give hoot about his feelings.

Yes well, finding his father is what really makes him happy. That's what he has always wanted. IMO if Liz stays with Jack he wont be that heartbroken. I can totally see him accepting it.

But what JCd4 life said that what Jack and Liz only felt was lust...mmm Im gonna disagree a little. Its true they feel lust, but theres so much more than meets the eye.

Besides you cant toy with our main character's feelings. True you cant toy with anyones feelings but Jack is our main character of pirates. They cannot just give us some high hopes with the sexual tensions and the chemistry between them two and how their feelings were growing then just like leave it there, as if it never happened. Its ludacris, I think its a wast of time and money, especially our time and money because we are the audience.

I think that JD_4_LIFE doesn't see this character the way we do, people say that we sometimes over analyzed the movie, but you have to go deep in order to understand the characters. It was so obvious that Liz character was feeling something more than lust, I was aware of it the first time I watch the movie, and I wasn't even a J/L shipper. But, as you said the whole chemistry, sexual tension and innuendos was telling something about these characters. I really don't know what TnT were thinking when they made the chemistry between them, I just hope that what happened in DMC was for nothing, If Jack was meant to be a bump in the road for W/E I am really going to be pissed
