Why do you believe in the bible?

So? It doesn't deminish its presence. You still support the worlds largest and most bureaucratic religion.

Don't count on churches to give freely. There is always a price, one that comes with the tag of evangelism. Better to give to the needy yourself.

Religious orgs do not have a monopoly on charity. I'm not religious and I spend plent of my time and money volunteering through non-religious and religiosu organizations alike.

Charity would more than survive without religion.

True. 🙂

How can you read your posts and not see your anger in there? Its evident in your tone and words.

Because I wrote it, that's kind of how I can tell. What you read into my posts are not my responsability.

I have never told you to believe what I believe, so why do you pretend that I have?

No, you're right, you've never said: "Captain Fantastic, believe what I tell you to believe or burn in hell!" But you don't have to. You say it all with your position.

Once again, I have never once said that you are going to hell, so get over your blind anger and open your eyes and see that.

My assumptions about your statements come from what you've said. It isn't a matter of misunderstanding what you wrote, it's a matter of having heard it all before. If you use the same arguments and logic as the rest of the hatemongers who were more obtuse in their condemnation, then there's no reason not to assume you don't believe, word for word, what you preach.

Or perhaps you aren't reading and can't see that I'm not being hypocritical?

The moment you rationalize your opinion with bible verse, you certainly are being hypocritical.

Very true. I agree with you.

And if your church has no beauracracy, how do you intend to help the poor and needy? (without paying taxes?)

Ah, but I've left three used condoms and a syringe filled with holy water and crack cocaine on those streets in my first go round. You owe me $4000. And that's even more costly for you folks across the pond, what with your "sound as a pound" attitudes.

I still have hope. Your fate is not determined until your last breath and potentially even post millenial. I think that there is a good chance you are not going to hell, I hope you understand that.

You still think I hate...

Bureaucracy is different than volunteer supervisors of charities. I help the needy without a bureaucracy already, so I don't understand what your getting at.

His chances of going to Hell are 0%

Hell doesn't exist.

The homosexuals are needy people ? 🙄

I guess we forgot about the Homeless, the sick, and the starving....

I think you need to read further above because your last point seems a little off topic. The question wasn't about homosexuality. At least I don't think so.

I recall the two of you discussing Homosexual Reparative Therapy before...if that was in another thread than I apologize.

Please answer the rest of my quote....

😂 You already know my position on the first point. I'm not in the mood for circular arguments.

Of course you think I'm misguided. I think the same way of you. Isn't that what we all think of those that disagree with us?

We were talking about sponsoring charities and good works, not reparitive therapy. I don't put my money into reparative therapy.

No. Some "misguided" people can actually prove their claims.

There's no such thing as Hell 😛

Yes there is...its a special place for unproductive people, double posters, and derailers.

Exactly, according to christianity nothing is set in stone until that last breath is drawn. That's one of those loopholes built into the faith.

I don't care if you hate or not. Your divisive and condemning views inspire it in others. As long as you do nothing to stop others of your faith from acting in a fashion that directly contradicts the teachings of Jesus Christ, you are guilty of condoning their behavior.

Bureaucracy is of course different from a volunteer group. The bureaucracy isn't doing it for free. But the bureaucracy is the body that controls the money that you drop in that collection plate.
