You have no proof or whatsoever that Darkseid is lying.
It should be taken notice that "omnipotent" is an exaggerated term in comics. As said here, an avatar is a small part of Darkseid's nearly infinite energy.
The avatars speaks greatly of the real Darkseid, and to the point where the real Darkseid is possibly (nearly) all-powerful. The avatar states that itself can even be defeated if the opponent is strong enough, which seems to imply that the real Darkseid can't actually lose on the physical plane.

plus u are asking me to disregard all of darkseids speeches when he lost to superman and when he called doomsday unbeatable. why wouldnt he say that an avatar lost but no he didnt he called doomsday unbeatable meaning that darkseid couldnt defeat him even with his near infinite power supply. 🙄

Darkseid didn't lie it's just more continuity problems that has plaqued DC comics for just about ever. So when you see another crisis series come around just know that they have to fix some shit up so that it meshes with all the rest. The reason you don't keep hearing all of that "I'm an Avatar of Darkseid BullS**t" is because they know that they can't keep pulling that lame ass shyt, because people wil start to wonder if the real Darkseid was never seen then what was said when he was rocking with Yuga the Bear Kahn never existed. What now? huh? huh? LOL.
