The T-1000 isn't liquid - he's referred to as liquid metal only because that's the easiest way to describe him, he's actually a system of nanites.

Then couldn't spidey (Theoretically) simply set off a EMP thus pwning T-1000.

Better yet if this is Iron Spidey , he has nanites in his suit and can MENTALLY control his suit. I have no doubt Spidey could simply command it to over-take the terminators nanites.

WHATS YOUR POINT? ANY FORM OF LIQUID CAN HARDEN OR DRY OUT
ARE YOU SAYING THE ONLY WAY TO DEFEAT THE T-1000 IS TO THROW IN A PIT OF LAVA? ANY SORT OF PREP TIME SPIDEY WINS DAY IN DAY OUT, WHETHER HE IS EATING, SLEEPING OR TAKING A $HIT SPIDEY WINS

Spider-Man, espeically Iron-Spidey will defeat T-1000. He is more resourceful and will find a way to defeat T-1000. T-1000 can run and run and run all he wants, good luck hitting spidey.

My point is that it isn't liquid, no need for the noob-lock.

As far as Peter's nano suit taking over the T-1000's, it's doubtful. I believe I remember reading that the T-X(you know, the Terminator that was specifically designed to terminate other terminators?) had a pretty hard time trying to use IT'S nanites as an offensive weapon against T-1000's, since they are self replicating, and on an equally small scale.

I'm not sure of the terminator's resilience to an EMP, but I believe they have been protected against it, Skynet's smart. Making an emp is NOT difficult at all, there is no way Skynet would leave a weakness like that exposed to a clever human resistance.

Spiderman is losing in this scenario. If he could use his environment, he may be able to find a win, but in an arena fight, Spidey's screwed.

The T-1000 only started to glitch AFTER it was frozen and re-formed from the Liquid nitrogen. Nothing else even phased it.

Didn't have a wave of glitched color in the mall? Or was that in the refinery again? Guh, once I start doubting the sequence I remember the whole movie starts shuffling around. When did Reese and Sarah hide in the car in the parking building? And when did the robot ninjas behead each other with the katanas?

It's not the only thing you can do. You have to do something that damages it on the molecular level and that's something Spiderman is capable of doing, he's a smart guy, just not with his own powers.

I wouldn't be surprised, science fiction bastardizes regular science, but I do believe nanites are supposed to be extra vulnerable to radiation. Something about the amount of surface area to its volume... or something like that.

Haw, after reading this maybe you can confirm if it's true:

Actually, right now I'm an undeclared undergrad. After this year, though, I'm gonna transfer out to a bigger school and probably double major in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science. With a focus in nanotechnology.

I only see 2 ways of Spidey beating him. Permanent freeze or premanent melt.

Then again there always something to rearrange T-1000's molecular structure.😬

Pretty much any reaction is sped up by an increased surface area to volume ratio, however, I cannot comment on ACTUAL nanites as they don't exist (yet).

The most impressive nanotechnology I've found, aside from bucky balls, eggs, and tubes, is the nano car. Heard about this thing? Actually designed and DROVE a molecular car. Insane.
