Nah, we had to back stuff up occasionally. Actually, it was your boy Khell who managed to bring me down first (I won a free-for-all and got back in it, only to lose to Scoob) because Khell was one of about 2-3 people besides myself on KMC who read Authority, and could call out some of my crap (although a lot of it was legit).

All said, I was 4th out of 10. Not bad for a team of complete jobbers.

but yea. I used like four scans total to win the tourny. Well, in the last fight I used more but thats because Leo hooked me up with crystal scans

Also, I remember reading this forum way before I joined.
There was like one scan used to say that Phoenix was as high as TOAA, and I remember saying that, she never really seemed that high.
Then when I joined, I found out that, it was a bullsh!t cropped lie.

Anyway, about the scans...

So who's everyone picking?

I'm looking forward to, say, pick 4-6. Scoob and I are covered (we're sitting at #3), and I'm assuming the last two teams have some "surprise picks" in store (when doesn't Blair pull an ass-backward pick out of nowhere...lol) but I'm guessing there'll be a few dodgy picks in between.

And who wants to take bets on whether or not bran and goober ever make a pick for round 1??

Yeah DL, you alluded to being ready for round 2 when Baldey yelled at you for picking early....good times, and as long as you have someone in mind, Quasar was probably worth it. I can only hope someone takes your person, so we can watch you squirm. Ruining peoples' draft is funny (like Kandy's rant about not getting Warlock...priceless stuff).

You could do us all a favor and just pick now. If batdude is going to go the usual way of tournys, there is a confirmation thread where you can switch out different characters if you decide you want a change. (which means any back up partner could choose then if the need be

meh I hav emore than one character in mind 😉

and I'm fairly certain atleast two of them won't be picked by anyone and those are the ones I really want 😈

Personally I think the indecision is hilarious....just as long as they get the pick in. But I guess Iceman ruined their big surprise, so they need some time to re-plan.

And for your sake I hope you're right DL. Because that's what Scoob and I were worried about. If our top picks were somehow taken, in our opinion the bottom falls off really quick when it comes to brawlers after a select few.

I just can't wait to argue against your guys' picks to get them banned, because anyone with any kind of "shock value" has a decent chance of being more than simply a brick-type.

Actually, I'm more interested in your brawler at this point. You may come up with an energy surprise, but the big names are already taken (Blue and Quasar were obviously going in the first 3-4 picks, and I'm not really surprised by most of them)....I want to see who the #1 pick is (in your opinions) in round 2.

But promise me you won't doddle all week in round 2. That would be hilarious from one perspective, but mind-numbing for everyone else who's waiting.
