So, coincidentally, if we're doing 2 matches a week, thus making round 1 a 2-week-long thing, can I request that Scoob and I don't go in week 1 (because of this, which could be a sizable hindrance)??

I just PMd BD to let him know that first round matchups would be great to know any time now....because if we want to start soon, I'd kinda like more than a day or two to make our team writeup.

I don't mean to pressure BD, but it would just make it easier on everyone....especially with my partner's busted monitor and me working all day Saturday.

Yea...Im going to be flying back to college Sat...I think there should be a deadline for teams. Tomorrow (or today if you want to get picky, and are my time)? With only two teams left, well it should go by faster...

and scoobs, would you not be able to do the tourny on your laptop??

Probably, but my laptop sucks .... it's constantly losing the internet connection (wireless) and half the time I hit the "submit reply" button I lose everything I just typed out because its not connected..... most of the time I copy whatever I've written in case this happens .... but sometimes I forget and it pisses me off.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a new monitor soon-ish..... my cousin told me (last time i saw him) that my current monitor was crap and he would get me a new one.... haven't seen it yet though and that was months ago.

I have a couple questions about Vulcan, if anyone wants to help me out here:

I'm concerned with the Sway/Petra aspect of him. Because I understand Vulcan's powers, but PR's been very hush about what other stuff he'll be able to do with these two.

1. Are they seperate people that are fused to Vulcan? Or did he just somehow inherit their powers?

2. What exactly do they do? I don't want battle strategies, just a general outline of powers (tp? tk? strength, durability, energy? etc.)

They died, yet somehow gave vulcan their powers.

Sway is time manipulation, and Petra could control terra. HOW pr can use time manipulation for the tourney is beyond me 😬

So is it their deceased beings in Vulcan, or just powers?

And yeah, time manip is out, but PR keeps displaying the 😖hifty: smiley and hinting that Sway can do more. I'd kinda like to know what.

IIRC, Darwin used his adpative abilities to transform himself, Petra and Sway into pure energy which was absorbed by Vulcan, after which he gained use of their powers.

Sway, did some stuff like freezing time in a small radius, and seeing phantoms playing out the events that had happened at an earlier time (like viewing the past).

Petra basically controlled the earth.

Guess it doesn't matter as much as it seemed like this morning, since I wouldn't face him until the finals. But meh, good to know anyway.

He told me he wasn't going to use her time manipulation powers, and that infact she has other ones he could use...

So when is the actuall confirmation match starts? Blair was sayin this Sunday but was not too sure about it..
