I dismissed Hollywood for the same reason as Omni-Man ... basically a Superman clone without the energy projection abilities..... that and they either have very few showings or showings against crappy characters. Omni-Man, for instance, should be able to rip Superman a new one ... but as Invincible is quite often a humour/parody based comic it's doubtful that people would take his feats seriously.

Right, like when someone had Groo the Wanderer for the street tourney. Probably a good pick, but his entire comic is for comedy...it was hard for me to see him as anything except a liability.

Yeah, Hollywood was like our 6th pick. Even...*sigh*...Supergirl was before him.
I wonder why nobody took Sentry though. We would have had him as our 2nd-3rd after All-Star Superman.

People I was surprised got overlooked: Orion, Majestic (once we dropped him I figured someone would want him), Kyle
People I never thought of: Vulcan, Black Alice, Iceman ( 😛 ), EXAM (we thought about regular AM). Everyone else crossed I or Scoob's mind at some point.
Scoob thought of a ton of other obscure picks, most of whom I can't remember. Omni-Man, Invincible's dad, was a favorite of mine. Space Phantom was in there somewhere though, and that was the only one that came to fruition.
...I guess that's about it. We considered lots of combos (we almost took Nate Grey in round 1 over Warlock, for example), but not a ton of them went too far, as we pretty much had Warlock and Thor in mind all along....and SP was a late addition once we thought of some clever stuff that we felt was better than what Majestic offered.
And Krypto. Someone should've taken him. 😉
