Don't worry ... no-one really likes BW.
Are you sure it's just a straight forward bracketed tourney? BD may shuffle the remaining teams after the first round so that you don't know who you'll be facing.

How often can the Space Phantom transform?
Could Adam Warlock have him transform into the Surfer, give the team a cosmic power boost, transform into Strange, give the team a mystic power boost, and then transform BACK into a full powered surfer? While leaving the cosmic and mystic boosts?

Well, yes.
However, I didn't mean necessarily THOSE characters.
Just several characters in quick succession leading to buffing and re-buffing the rest of the team, followed up by a switch back to one of the characters, leaving him at full power.
With all the Hero's that Warlock and Thor have met in the past...I'm sure that Digi and Scoob could come up with a quite complex amalgamation.

Yeah ... but it's a case of trying to choose the best 2 characters to use in each match (as 2 is the limit)
I find it interesting that all the copying characters were limited to using only 2 other characters powers and only 1 of them at a time .... yet EX Absorbing Man seem to be using everyone's powers at the same time.
He isn't really using the powers, though, he is using the energy signatures from them. 😬
And he is only using one powerset (that isn't his own), Dr. Druid, and that wasn't directly taken from someone if I am correct.
I mean, your guys could have more then one powerset too (now you have 10% of Surfer but there would be many ways of you having powers without breaking the tourney rules).
Man .... I just got used to tourney matches lasting a day (well ... supposed to be lasting a day ... but then getting extended every time because of some reason or other ... this time due to lack of voting)
Hmmmm .... there was gonna be a point there somewhere.... 😕
