I liked seeing the (thanks Howard) remark in Souja's post....apparently BRH is trying to pull for his boy in the tourney. Hell, maybe we should have picked Wolverine, Batman, and Spider-Man after all. The deluge of fanboy help we would've gotten would have trampled our way to the title.
😂
But that's not a knock on you guys. A little outside help is almost a given in tourneys like this.

...not everyone is as manic as we are. 😉
Actually, I have a busy-ish week....I was hoping for a slower match. No such luck, I guess.

He didn't outright help me, I just needed some info and looked in his respect thread. I thanked him because without the BRB respect thread, I most likely wouldn't have found what i was looking for. 😛
Not really the best place for this, but I figured you guys would want to know:
Raz and the other mods like my idea of a respect forum. It should be happening some time in the forseeable future. If you have any further ideas about this, feel free to talk to me, since it's basically my project and I'll be in charge of shaping it.
...but not all my proposed changes went through (merging Batman/Superman forums and Spidey/X-Men so that there aren't 4 character forums, just 2). I'm still pushing for them, since I think the comic forums are a bit too large as it is (I'd like to see less forums, making it mroe efficient), but we'll see...
I want to point out something to the competitors in match number three.
As far as Bill being capable of Thor's feats - arguing it as much as you want should be encouraged - convince the judges that you can or cannot use Thor's feats in Bill's favor. It will, in the end, be a HUGE part of the decision.
I mean, if a Judge happens to agree that Thor's feats do not count, it will mean almost an automatic defeat if your entire strategy revolves around Bill performing Thor's feats.
I would also like to tell you in advance, that I currently agree (I suppose some creative debating could change my mind) that unless Bill has done similar in the past, he is not necessarily capable of performing a feat of Thor's. Any feat of Thor's. I don't know if the other judges will be as forthright with this information, but I wanted to let you know in case you are going to base much of your strategy around Thor's list of feats.
Unless you produce some amazingly beautifully creative arguments to sway me, using Thor's feats is a no-no in my opinion. It will severely hurt your strategy.
Then Check my last post PLZ.Thor only remembers His life starting from Donald blake As Odin erased his memory and you do realise that means he only has 2-4 years advantage over bill in using the hammer. Also Bill has shown that above all other hammer users he is the most proficient hell he has once actually had to instruct some other thor clones on the use of their hammers properly.
In addition you will note that it is classic thor(Donald Blake)who used the more bizarre features of the hammer, implying that it takes minimal training to utilise the hammer properly and please bear im mind that Bill has owned that hammer for about 6-7 years and has used it several times in combat meaning he would have gained more experience in it's usage than Donald blake thor would have had before he met bill.
See it's not fair to claim that thor has centuries of experience over Bill as he only has 3-4 years advantage in reality and it only took him 3-4 years to produce his best work.

Regardless of having a century, a day, or a week advantage as far as sheer TIME goes - Bill hasn't displayed ANY of the 'exotic' Mjolnir powers.
Assuming that he can is asinine. Might as well assume that the Flash could kamikaze eternity....

However their argument isn't that Beat Ray can't accomplish these feats, it's that because of experience Beat Ray shouldn't know how to properly use Stormbreaker. MM is now bringing up the point that most of Mjolnir's more exotic feats were pulled off when Thor Was essentially "new" to Mjolnir. Meaning that if a novice Thor could have Mjolnir pull off these feats then Beat Ray with more experience should have no problem.

Should. Maybe. Perhaps.
All assumptions. Assumptions are a bad tactic in a debate.

Well thats inconsiquential considering that everything we have said biil does he has shown he can do 😉
As long as you have a scan of Bill performing these feats, and not Thor? I'm absolutely dandy with that!
However, it isn't my place to argue this point - that's for you two and Digi/Scoob right now. I'm sorry I've spoken this much on the subject - I just wanted to give you all a heads up.

Thor's lack of memory only lasted for a handful of issues ... after JIM 90 or so he remembered everything.... how else do you explain him remembering events from his childhood or his friends, like Sif, from centuries ago.

Yeah it is almost like saying that John Stewart could do the same things as Hal Jordan.
Indeed. And a better case could be made for that parallel, even in Souja and Martian's eyes. The experience difference between one GOOD Lantern and another isn't really huge. Doesn't mean we can use one of Hal's feats for Kyle or one of John's for Kilowog. Doesn't work that way.
