Indeed. And a better case could be made for that parallel, even in Souja and Martian's eyes. The experience difference between one GOOD Lantern and another isn't really huge. Doesn't mean we can use one of Hal's feats for Kyle or one of John's for Kilowog. Doesn't work that way.
Honestly I think it depends on power levels and high end feats where this gets tricky.
Take a GL every GL makes shields don't they. What if though a new GL comes along but we've never seen them make a shield does that mean they can't no it's a GL ring of course it can.
Same logic applies in mind for everything. For instance if you have an equal to better GL then what really prevents them from using something that is the same in a similar manner.
I mean your gonna tell me that anyone who puts on Hal's ring is automatically gonna be able to do everything Hal did no because it doesn't matter who did what with which ring they are all the same therefore if you have someone who is equal to or greater they should be able to do anything someone else has done. The only reason normally given is that they didn't therefore they can't but in reality nothing is stopping them from doing it.
Part of tournies is realizing what a character can and can not do not only based on scans but also what we know they are capable of and what is shown they are capable of not only exactly what they've done. I think trying to do that is putting limits on the caharacters that doesn't need to be put.
Now can Bill do everything Thor can who knows it's up for Suoja and MM to show he is comparable in power and usage of his Hammer to Thor but if Bill is comparable to say he can't do something Thor has done if they are close since they weild the same weapon is foolish if you ask me.
OK rant over just had to do this to kind of balance out what Soljer did to the team.
N.B. I'm also unconvinced that Thor/Mjolnir's feats can be used for BRB/Stormbreaker, without a feat of at least a similar nature and (preferably of a similar) level from BRB. Or an incredibly incredibly convincing argument that the feats should be valid.
Frankly it seems counterintuitive to assert that BRB will use Thor's feats to beat Thor. 😬

Let's just keep it to our battle, eh guys? Thanks.
Sorry, I didn't mean to make it a debate here; I only meant a warning. A strategy that relies on someone ELSES' (especially when you're fighting that someone else) feats just doesn't seem viable and tactically sound.
I know I argued here more than I should have, again, I didn't mean to. I meant to leave it at a statement, and I apologize to all those involved. Just wanted the competitors aware of (at least one of) the judge's opinion.

So DL/LL vs. bran/goober. Great match, huh?... 😛
Just trying to drum up some interest for a match other than ours. I'm flattered by all the attention, but theirs isn't bad either.

No offense guys but Match 4 is a bit slow.I wanna some action, drama, comedy. 😊
I guess Scoob and I are just more entertaining.
😉
...but yeah, I'd like to see a couple more posts from at least 1-2 of Match 4's participants. I think bran and lucid have only posted once each. I'm forming my opinion on it, but I can't really decide without knowing more.
I have a question for BD:
Round 2 presumably starts on Sunday, and our matches end on Saturday. But that gives us almost 0 time to make a writeup, because we might not know who we're facing in the next round (this isn't just for myself....this is for any team competing this week).
How are we dealing with this? Because Scoob and I could submit a bare-bones writeup (provided we win), but I'd rather take an extra day or so and make a real one.
