how does the equatorial line go along with this?and you think Jack is the eighth piece? okay well then maybe he and his dad have one or sumthin' like that...
Because Jack will represent the pirate Lord of the Caribbean, The Equatorial Line divides the continents and crosses the Caribbean. Temperatures around the Equatorial line are hot all year round. Of course where else is always hot all year round, The Caribbean. Yes I believe that Jack represents the eight piece. There are the seven continents and the Equatorial line that divides them. There are also the seven seas which makes a lot of sense as well.

well doesn't Sao Feng give her his after he dies?oh Misty Sao Feng would represent Asia and he gives the piece to liz thats why she's all dressed in chineese garb this movie or at least in the pic's we've seen... whatcha think?
Exactly therefore Liz will represent the Asian continent, Barbosa will represent Europe. Hector Barbosa is a Spanish derived name.
okay so..... okay i can see how that is possible and all but IMO wouldn't Jack be the most powerful? b/c if he was the "dividing" line then which side would he be on..
oh and i think i read somewhere TnT was gunna add Blackbeard as a funny lil' joke lemme' see if i can find it... cause' i bet he would be a pirate lord or king
Way sad! That wouldn't be my top ten choice for awesome endings. Personally, the best one that's been suggested is that Jack is marooned on the island yet again, thinking that he's completely alone, only to find Elizabeth is secretly on the island too. I think he'd probably find that the company is infinitely better than last time. Not to mention the scenery has improved.
Ok, back to reality. What is the overrall purpose, though of making Elizabeth a member of the council? She's a pirate at heart, I think we all know that, but would she give that up if she had to make the choice?
im really feeling the vibe that the whole "bittersweet" thing doesnt have anything to do with the three main characters in terms of living or dying. i'm pretty sure its about the golden age of piracy coming to a close and characters having to change their lifestyles. it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
