The Symbols Thread: Let's Trace our POTC Symbols

I'm sure Norrigton wont stab the heart. Becket has it know. Norrigton doesn't, he gave the heart to Becket at the end of DMC. And there's another rumour that Jack will kill Becket.

He almost has to kill Beckett to resolve some of his issues in the past. That's my thinking anyway, since Beckett sort of pushed him into becoming a pirate, or so the rumor goes. Though there are any number of people who have a grudge against the man.

Well, the rumor says that Will stabs the heart, but that Norrington sacrifices himself for Will's sake and becomes Captain. I can't remember if the writers stated whether Norrington's character go a reprieve or not from the Leaked Script. Is he still slated to die, or does that slot go to another character?

Doesn't Norrigton gets kill in the leaked script?

Norrigton sacrificing homself for Will, I dont see that happening. I can see Jack doing it.

Ah yes, but it's not Will that he would have in mind while he's sacrificing himself. He sacrificed his happiness for Elizabeth's in the first movie. It's a possibility, but I think it's a triffle far fetched. He does have to redeem himself in some manner.

HA! Ok. I can't keep track. Governor Swann sacrifices himself for Elizabeth. In the leaked script, Norrington does the same. Now it's rumored that Will does not return....At this rate, the kick ass ending is that everybody in the movie dies in some heroic manner.

But I hope he doesn't redeem himself by stabbing the heart, It wouldn't make sense. Orli is supposed to have a bigger role for some reason, its supposed to be Will's story. So there has to be a shocking closure to Will's character.

It's probably something so obvious that when we do find out, we're going to kick ourselves for not realizing it sooner. Obviously, he has a touch of destiny about him. So Tia recognizes that maybe he has the power to set her free.
There are those people who believe that Tia's had a hand in his fate since he was a boy for that reason. Anyway, his destiny is tied somehow to his father and the Dutchman. There is the rumor that the Dutchman was once a ship that rescued drowning sailors and that the Locker wasn't such an awful place. It was only after Jones lost his heart that everything became warped. So perhaps in honor of his father, Will decides that he must restore the Dutchman to the original purpose, and honor his father in some way.

Has any one heard a rumor about Bootstrap Bill? I can't imagine that he'd live through the entire film.
