I don't think this is too off topic, but what would be the difference (if any) between pretty, beautiful and sexy?

Some initial thoughts...
Beautiful is more "substantial" than pretty.
One can be either beautiful or pretty w/o being sexy.
One can be sexy w/o being beautiful or pretty.
Out of all three, sexy is more dependent on attitude than beautiful or pretty.

Second question: what era/decade's idea of beautiful suited women best?

All in my opinion since we will be this now and beyond and before..........As with anyone.
