Have you ever seen the movie "Of mice and men"? If not let me explain, It's a movie about a guy and his big mentally disabled friend. He tries for most of the movie to make excuses for his friend, but when his friend murders someone, he realizes he has to put him down.

I just ment you don't seem to care at all abotu the victim's of these horrific crimes since you like to make their pain and suffering into a joke.

These other may have misguided sympathy for these things, but at least they feel something for the victims.

Another thing I love about the Canadian Legal system is they now allow victims to make statements to the judge before sentencing in private so he/she can truly understand the impact on them by the criminal.

And just last night on my local news they were doing a story about a group thats pushing for stronger sentencing and how angry and fed up people are with these things running aroudn and the slap on the wrist most of them get.

Given this emotional climate and the fact that it's only likely to get worse over the years, I think it will be easier then you believe to get the death penalty restored.
