Its insanity to say that Imperiex couldn't one shot the planet earth, and Galactus as well.

Strange can't beat Thanos, but he can hold off Galactus??

With prep Reed can erase the Multi-verse, but the thread starter didn't say Imperiex versus Marvel Earth with prep,

so this battle would be, Imperiex shows up and he's ready to kill, unless Earth can put up a defense in like less than seconds they're toast.

Strange and Rachel and others could hold him back.

But if going by your idea, you might as well just make the thread "Does Imperiex have the ability to blow up a planet?" Cause if your giving him one sided prep and earth's superpowered heroes and villians only like a second to respond then you might as well just call it that.

The title of the thread is "Imperiex vs Marvel Earth" and that suggests its a question of does the marvel earth have people on it capable of defeating Imperiex and it does.

The fact that he knows ahead of time that the fight will take place is prep and why do you guys never respond to ALL the points in a post you just nitpick the one you think you can fight and ignore the rest of whats said cause you can't counter it?

Imperiex's reflexes are rediculously fast I'm sure.

If Silver Surfer (1% Galactus's Power) can move in the nano-second realm of Time, imagine the likes of Galactus and Imperiex.

If Imperiex is looming over the Planet Earth and the Heroes and Villains are lined up (without prep) then the referee says GO, it's over in nano-seconds.

Strange can't hold back Imperiex, Strange got OWNED by the Power Gem Alone, and he had ALL his Talismans together as ONE WITH PREP.

Rachel, is tough, but Galactus is way out of her league, so Imperiex is too.

Rachel fought a HUNGRY Galactus and the fight still lasted a while.

A fed Galactus, which is a Normal Galactus would have erased her on the spot.

Did you not see EVERY Hero and Villain Past and Present jump Galactus, and.... he was NOT even Phased, as though they weren't even there.

Then he One shot that Earth and it became a barren rock with absolutely no life, not even in the microscopic sense.

Of course, with PIS or Prep,

otherwise they wouldn't be able to include him in ANY story or arc,

but what I posted was the true Galactus without PIS, and you saw how awesome he trully is.

Well yah, PIS does alter things.

If you took out PIS these people would never lose:
Galactus
Korvac (I don't know about you, but this storyline ticked me the hell off, he lost in such a retarded way and the last time he lost it was to Captain America.)

That's the problem with creating such over the top characters.

The ways in which writers come up with them to lose are usually horrible.

I doubt most writers even understand the scope of what they write...a quick buck and some OOOH's and AHHH's is all they go for.

I think Imperiex has the power to easily defeat the Earths heros, but i'm still intrigued by the sleeping Celestrial. If Imperiex doesnt one shot the Earth (seems he might have the power to do so, but i'm not that familiar with him) and he awakens the Celestrial AND in turn defeats the Celestrial, wouldnt other Celestrials come? I've always thought that was their nature, but i'm probably wrong.

Now i'm second guessing myself. Dr. Strange is pretty impressive (more so than I realized). I was just reading his respect page and when he defeated the In-Betweener with no prep,,,thats a feat. I didnt know he could call on powers such as Chaos and Order.

lol It may be PIS, but on many occassions the Marvel Earth has driven back Big G. So it makes sense that they could take out Imperiex.

like I said Dr strange and Sentry and Scarlet Witch and Rachel could hold him off till Reed, TOny, Doom, and Forge create the device.

And don't talk abotu one-shotting the Earth cause and the planet only having like a second to respond.

1) In order to do it he would have one sided-prep, in order to make it a fair fight both sides have to know the battle is comming. 2) Even so the Earth has many very cosmicly aware beings who would sense him comming and prepare.
