Okay, that makes sense--when I first started teaching I had a 17 year 8th grader (no kidding) named Dewboy--he loved me for whatever reason and I literally had NO problems becos he'd stand up and say "I like this teacher and I want to learn NOW! and every kid there would be really quiet.

But really, same cute nose in ALL pics I've ever seen. You know he's got a temper, goes without saying. He even said that in the commentary part "oh yeah, that was the day I was mad--I tried to stay mad all day."

Oh my.. I do not have any symptoms, really. It kind of upsets me what people think of him, that he is an "easy street" being so "cool" with things, and then because of the same thing respecting him, like Elvis, which, compare any star to Elvis.. They make him the model of success and if you get to act with him that is success. I just say, oh well, these people are not at all better than me, since he is the new thermometer.

okay--bizarre thought number who the heck knows anymore--doesn't it strike you as odd--having had guy friends and a little brother, most guys get in fights right...at one point in time or the other--here's J. Depp, living in the South, (means guaranteed fight at some point) and he's not big as a minute (ditto note above) and he's drop dead too purty for words (see note above, underline all caps) and yet, his nose is perfect. How'd that come to pass?

Also, there's a song old 50s I think by Shelly Fabre' and part of it goes,

Johnny get angry Johnny get mad
give me the biggest lecture I've ever had
I want a brave man
I want a cave man....

any ideas?

Yeal, but in Florida, it is not "the South," really, at all. It's just a place by the beach. I love the South, but

Fort Lauderdale / area beach (I believe that looked like Fort Lauderdale)

Halladale Beach, FL, beach by Miramar, where he lived, from what, 7 - forever? or isn't it until he was an actor?? bc don't actors live in L.A. etc.? FL is a place for normal ppl.. A lot of authors live in NYC, so I was afraid to live there now.

South Miami Beach

Maybe being from wherever else he lived, which I did not see, he is southern. Like, Kentucky?? I've been there passing to see my relatives. We always ate Kentucky Fried Chicken there when I was older. The people there are nice, nothing to fli** me off on. I always feel insulted..

Lol, tex, it is something to think about. The only explanation I can come up with for someone not having smashed Johnny's nose is that Johnny must have had a lot of friends and/or got along with everyone. Maybe no one wanted to fight him, at least not seriously.
Oh no, do not do the Louisiana thing (where I lived age 12-19) where you kill someone for looking good just because you are jealous. Whatever does this mean? I like when people have a good nose. I would never hurt anyone, besides. I do not know what all is on your minds, jealousy of the other states? Texas is a nice place comparably to a lot of places in many ways. I simply do not understand. I did not like Louisiana, but I never said anything bad. I never said people from good places were bad, quite the opposite. I was looking for good people where I was, but I do not think I found any. Maybe, I found some neatadults.

I just absolutely hate it when people do that: my class started that trend. Just say you are acting insulting, like it is normal to go berzerk and do something strange, like it is the new fashion of the world. I was saying, why do all of Johnny Depp's movies focus on the like stupid brat, but before I worded as protocol focus on the privileged, really spoiled, kid. So, Johnny Depp's movies are about focusing on stupid people.

So, when you want to picture the South, if you want to picture a place that isn't Southern (since South Carolina and Kentucky are considered the South) that model first and foremost goes to Florida, then California, then New York perhaps. I have been around a long time, to know. So, I must be correct? Really, we are not like Louisiana. Not South at all. 🙁 I think you meant Kentucky, then, and other places he lived, since it said he lived in 20 places before living in Miramar, Florida, at 7, but not where. Cannot you guess what Miramar is from seeing him? It is a most 'successful settlement' in FL.. a place that has its beans and has the right fun. FL has a dual family rep for each place, and I allways thought this was just a family city, since it was not by Miami, etc.. not even by Fort Lauderdale. I thought it was a really tacky place where people are too hot on telling innocent people the rules, basically, but then they always have their beans in the matter. Actually, not thinking of JD, it was a place where you are immersed simple in complete painful completely dull dorkiness that makes people say you are the biggest dork, from the other qualities I described. Yeal, to the good part, but it comes across the other way when you don't think of JD or the good part. Why.. Why, it's just Miramar. It just 'is..' ? It's in the middle of Fort Lauderdale an Miami but in the center of the state, I see. It was the other option to people being from "Halladale Beach" or Miami-Dade is why, though. No, you do not feel much in Miramar, depending on your circumstances, though. You feel more in places like Fort Lauderdale and Miami, or used to be.. I guess bc it was harder. Anyway, the other locations have good weather, see.. too. I think they are just normal places..

No, people from places like Florida and California are not prejudiced. They have love for all people - but places.. well.. I did not think Texas thought it was a ranch in all reality, so I do not get it. It reminds me of exactly like Ohio, except hot.. 🙂 ?

But, yea, seeing troubles from being just from Miramar as far as in Florida. I think we lived in in that county:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broward_County#Incorporated

(or at least maybe went to those areas; remember, my parents didn't tell me; I think we were interested in Dade County and Miami.. everyone is.. another annoyingly big thing that has nothing to do with you and all about little blonde brat baby girls)

It is sometimes almost a problem to be from a certain place and not others compared to other people not from Florida, but not at all the problem that that is that place - not indicating about where the person lives, on how it matters where you live. Basically, people have opinions. Like, do you want to live where it is always worse than a ranch (Louisiana.) My answer is no. Do I want the opposite problem, no.. Really, you can tell, the people in Florida are just other people. I would trade any of you for all you are plus this any day. Why is it different? Well, if you complain on that it focuses its spare time on things like being cool, I guess, as opposed to like "reading" like Washington state or "arts" and "culture" like NYC. It's always "what isn't it." See...... ( 😖till thinks: )

: ( Living in different places in FL is a big topic. It does not make you better, though. I meet a lot of people here from Fort Lauderdale and Miami, but I think they are lying. I met lots of people online from NY & NYC, too, who live here, and at least one still there. But people who just moved from NY/C as an adult. I meet lots of people who as kids are born in Fort Lauderdale/Miami or lived in California, too, who live here. Well, I mean that's all who stands out. I only met a handful of people, mostly on MySpace and online. They're just stupid s*** if that makes you happy. But yea, they are.. They were so rude and stuck up and treated me like nothing just bc of what they have. I met ppl from Africa, one boy with 'blue eyes and dirty blonde hair' age 17, so he says. He was so stuck up. People from Florida and Africa are just stupid like that. So, now, you think it your turn to use it as a tool against me, when I did nothing wrong.. : ( not good.. mm.. : P just, no.. ( :like, crazy, 'thinks..': ) ..This boy from Africa certainly had a big mouth since most people do not really talk directly to me. He's on My Virtual World (on my profile.) I meet lots of people who live in Australia and England there. I met one from France and I think lots from Canada. Tan Asians, people claiming Latino and one from Spain.. I meet lots of 15-year-olds from England and they are all mean. They just ask me why I'm there because I'm 21.

lol i forgot about that! he tried to stay mad all day. hehe!

omg i remember that in the commentary! i all of a sudden have an urge to watch the commentary. where the name "Hector Barbossa" was born. true story.

What day was he trying to stay mad all day? I packed up COTBP so I can't pop it in. All I remember with the Gore/Johnny commentary is that Johnny was laughing at himself in the island scene where Keira snuggles up next to him. "She's snuggling up with Methuselah over there. I can't believe he thinks he's going to get lucky."

yeahthat was great too!

it was the "Do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death" scene

lol...basically Willo that commentary when Johnny says that he was mad at Gore is in COTBP on the scene were Jack is questioning and recruiting his "Able Bodied Crew" in Tortuga...lol...where he questions Mr. Cotton, Mr. Cotton's Parrot, and Ana Maria!! 😄

Does he say why? Or was it banter?

lmao over that 😄 --He was quite tickled about the old guy with the young girl--and the very elegant mustache twists (the get lucky). The be mad comment was like ImpPiDiva said--on the dock. I know in the bloopers loop he said he hated that line in the face of certain death, don't think that would've done it though. 😱

Just struck me as odd becos I didn't think about him being grouchy or grumpy, much less mad 😠 about something--much less trying to be mad all day. lol to imagine him with his lip out (pouting).

ah that reminds me of Vanessa saying he had quite a temper 😊

'& like, OMg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is that high blood pressure, from meeting an "animal" 'from' a different country..* The answer is yes. 'Any 'takers?

It should have been none of our business, but, (rhetorical,) why is she married to him anywa- Oh, because they had sex & kids. 😛 I, already, said that, once.

Why marry anyone, now? The earth has centered itself on the marriage of the most famous of celebrities. Does she know how many people are really jealous of her? Talk about snap decisions in the subconscious. I am glad he is married with kids or whatever he is, but I mean- and esp. at his age.

DISCLAIMER: Just Joining the Conversation

*DISCLAIMER: Looking at how I am an animal.

I guess you'll want to do like you see I am doing, like w/ Lily, just go about (get in a movie someday dev lol regardless of what Rogue says) and say that, whitch, they are not better. dev

It was in an interview from ohjohnny.net. I posted it here before, I'll look for it... here it is:

"#1. He's not an impersonator, but a creator: When he's playing a person, he invents 50%. For Ed Wood, who he basically knew nothing about, he invented the whole thing. He wore false teeth and put on a bizarre accent. So, noone should ever watch his films dubbed in french. For Sleepy Hollow, a story that has existed forever, he played the detective with a feminine approach. Noone else has this same trait (as Johnny)
#2: He's a people-watcher: When preparing for a role, he is often inspired by people he knows quite well. He will seek out the (polarity) of characters: the light, the dark.

#3: He is never afraid/ he never has fear: He does not fear to play a bastard, a "Degueulasse"(no idea) or a pervert. still, each time he tries something, he thinks that he's going to be fired, that he goes too far. he doesn't fear to try, even in the extreme, he just fears not to do well. in fact, he always doubts.

#4: He teaches me actor's tricks: Indirectly, oui. Watching him, I learnt to use gestures more. I use them left and right. In Benny and Joon, when he is making an important declaration/speech, he plays with his look to break the rhythm and launch the action when nobody expects it. His play with looks inspires me sometimes.

#5: He helped me discover silent films: In particular the films of Lon Chaney and Clara Boux

#6: He enriched my Musical knowledge: With the underground Latin Playboys "Los Lobos". You know them? The first of their three albums is the best. And also with Iggy Pop. Very much so.

#7: He likes Gainsbourg, Lanzmann, Vian and Brel: He has some taste. When he didn't speak french very well, he spent his hours translating their songs. They're very moving.

#8: He knows French Culture better than I do: And in particular, the history of France. He says that I am a big fake and that my head is a seive. I did well at school but I remember much less than those who (can't make this word out). He's fascinated with characters. He always wants to know the why and how they do everything. Especially dictators. All the dictators. Architecture, also, that fascinates him. When walking around paris and a someone asks: "What's this thing?", well, it's Johnny that responds! It should also be said that the boy reads nonstop: novels, biographies... and everything he reads, he remembers.

#9: He likes literature: Francois Villon and Arthur Rimbaud do not have secrets from him (ie. he understands them very well).

#10: He never took French lessons: But he speaks well. Not enough, in my taste (my view). His favourite french expression is "de guingois" (means "lopsided" or "crooked"😉

#11: He loves wine: All wines: bordeux, bourgogne , all.

#12: He has the air of a child (he has a child-like quality): And its because of this that he is an excellent actor. The best of his generation, in my view. Children play without having to know why, how they look, or what’s going on around them.

#13: He is loyal to Tim Burton: The two boys are friends. That is all. It's as if they have known each other since school, they got along immediately and were inseperable. They have so much in common and are always making assholes of themselves like they were eight and a half. They exchange books, films, brushes, ideas all the time. They laugh. They drink. And, most of all, they trust each other.

#14: He will do anything to help anyone: for those who he loves or those who are sincere

#15: He has Indian blood in his veins: I love this. A little Indian, and a little Irish. What a mixture! And what a temper! If something doesnt pass, he breaks it. He can take things a bit hard. But there is nothing better: It's a manner that opens shortcuts in life.

#16: He is always beautiful: There, when you see the photos of Willy Wonka, you find that it is ... Remarkable, me too ... the problem, it is that the boy is so goodlooking. He does whatever he can to make himself ugly. Moreover, if he had more elbow room, he would do more in disfiguration and physical transformation. But the studios retain his look. All of them. The producers know well that they can sell the sexiest guy on earth. It's good that he guards himself a little bit. If he didn't, it would go straight to his head.

#17: He is fascinated with insane people: The majority of people to which Johnny attaches himself are magnificently bizarre!

#18: He does what he wants: He has the master key to the majority of big blockbusters, but he has always chosen his projects according to his convictions and never followed the path of 'the obvious'

#19: He is a maniac: His generosity. Yes, his generosity is manic/obsessive.

#20: He has faults: he is always right

*#8: He knows French Culture better than I do: And in particular, the history of France. He says that I am a big fake and that my head is a seive. I did well at school but I remember much less than those who (can't make this word out). He's fascinated with characters. He always wants to know the why and how they do everything. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! #11: He loves wine: All wines: bordeux, bourgogne , all.

nahuh #12: He has the air of a child (he has a child-like quality): And its because of this that he is an excellent actor. The best of his generation, in my view. Children play without having to know why, how they look, or what’s going on around them. schmoll

THEY DRINK? #13: He is loyal to Tim Burton: The two boys are friends. That is all. It's as if they have known each other since school, they got along immediately and were inseperable. They have so much in common and are always making assholes of themselves like they were eight and a half. They exchange books, films, brushes, ideas all the time. They laugh. They drink. And, most of all, they trust each other.

peeshaw #14: He will do anything to help anyone: for those who he loves or those who are sincere

Oh well, this person is on drugs, anyway. #15: He has Indian blood in his veins: I love this. A little Indian, and a little Irish. What a mixture! And what a temper! If something doesnt pass, he breaks it. He can take things a bit hard. But there is nothing better: It's a manner that opens shortcuts in life.

Well, I'm the one who's going to really be an actress- #16: He is always beautiful: There, when you see the photos of Willy Wonka, you find that it is ... Remarkable, me too ... the problem, it is that the boy is so goodlooking. He does whatever he can to make himself ugly. Moreover, if he had more elbow room, he would do more in disfiguration and physical transformation. But the studios retain his look. All of them. WTF #19: He is a maniac: His generosity. Yes, his generosity is manic/obsessive.

Nobody cares, though. #20: He has faults: he is always right

Sorry, OMg, did I upset you?

Haha, Johnny is married to Vanessa Paradis.. and she is French!. He is the biggest American icon. He was so bored he thought this was the only one for him. I take it I was right that everyone other than me really is bad if he could not even FIND A WIFE! Everyone is stupid and abusive and m*****ing around him. American Pie - American S***!

Nothing wrong with being French, but does anything indicate it is not for this reason? Might as well not wait til people die to live.

If he could not even find a wife? He did so I don't know what you are saying. *confused*

The question is, "Why wasn't/isn't he married to this woman, her?"

Thanks Miz Iheart, I remember this now from the summer--pretty cool all in all.

There was something on youtube sorta in this vein--Vanessa Pardis was talking to an interviewer, they had a large room with large tv screens and they put up a picture of Mr. Depp. She sorta gasp, and put her hand over her heart, her eyes became very luminous, inlovethis melty look of just love for this man. She recovered herself and said "oh, I haven't seen him in 5 days and ..." and her voice just trailed off, her eyes told the story.

She loves him, plain enough--monitors for him. Irish/Indian, reared in the deep south, oh yeah, now it makes sense. A walleyed fit, hissy fit, conniption henry, waltzing pissant (good at it I suppose)--fits of temper they are for the young--you got no energy for really big pSSSoffs as you grow. Besides that, much as he loves his children, he probably doesn't do too much of it in front of them.

Making up is so much fun they tell me (that's about as dirty as I could go after that big old think it through I just experienced).

So, in light of that little blip about how he loves crazies, I now have a clearer understanding of how he ended up talking to both PiXRo and ImpPiDiva ( 😂 🙄 🙄 😂--teasing piratistas!).
