Fable 2!

Yeah, and i actually think the appearance customization was handled much better in the original Fable. By the time i ended the story in the first Fable, my character looked completely different than what he looked like in the beginning as a child then as a teen and as a young adult. I do like the dye's though and the dog feature is really cool. It does feel nice to have a companion in the game even if he is useless.

The character models look Fugly, especially Sparrow. If you are ever able to get a close look at Sparrow his character model looks unfinished.

One thing i hate about this game is that you can't have more than one save file. I hate it when games don't allow more than one save slot.

What? You can have 5 save files. Well unless if you're saying that you can't save your current story in a different place. You can have five different files but each file has to be another story. You don't have to delete a file to do a new game.

odd...

After relooking at my character I think we are talking about two different things. I know you get red cracks and stuff on your body but I'm talking about the will markings you get after leveling it up. Also yeah I'm grayish blue and I'm 100% evil and corrupted.

that was my main complaint of that post, yeah.

The game itself is okay, but some of the things you can do in it crack me the hell up.

My flirting with someone sparked off a killing spree, and then immediately afterwards I got engaged to a bisexual barmaid...

Does anyone know how to open that Demon Door that's under Fairfax castle?

u have to open all the others first

I've just ran into the game breaking glitches. I can't access the cemetery or any part of Bowerstone without the game freezing. The game was laggy before now but this is simply unexcusible. Did no one play test this game before they sent it off to shipping?

A lot of people have had problems but a lot of people like myself have had no trouble.

This game has so many problems.

1: What kind of adventure game with swords doesn't have armor?

2: The ending was complete bull****. You'd expect better from final bosses.

3: The beginning of the game sucked. Who gives a lot of detail on bird crap? 😂

4: The icon that keeps popping up on that dog says "treasure" is really startin to get on my nerves. I can see the friggin chest plain as day.

Agree with the first two. The beginning was ok to me and the dog is very useful that thing comes up when a silver key is around too.

No one should be having problems that hinder them from playing the game.

I don't know how true this is but i've seen several people saying this on the lionshead forum. Maybe, someone here who is a hardware genius can comment on the below.

This is the reason why Fable 2 freezes alot and can ruin your xbox:

1) Fable 2's programming overclocks the CPU. This can lead to instability which will cause your game to crash. Because of the auto-save feature, crashing can lead to corrupted save files.

2) Fable 2's programming also overclocks the GPU of the console. This can also lead to crashing in short term. In long term, it can melt your soldering leading to the infamous Red Ring of Death.

3) Fable 2's DVD RPM-R speed exceedes safe operating limits. While many games have done this recently, if this process is not finely tuned, it can lead to disc instability due to fluctuating speeds. This can lead to scuffs and scratches on your disc as well as a very loud drive. (This is repaired if you use the NXE Install)

I think people with teh LE game don't have problems.

The kinds that are set in a time period where armor is no longer used.

Stop sleeping in history class.

I had it freeze up on me randomly; it claimed my disc was unreadable (checked it, disc was perfect), and then when I restarted it would just freeze the system on a blank black screen. I was in Oakfield, I think. It also could be really slow in loading menus sometimes, which is odd.

I'm going to need to actually buy this game I think, though (borrowed a copy from work). I'm actually rather enjoying it, though it's amazingly short. I was checking something on gamefaqs and noticed there's 11 main quests in this game. I've completed six and was halfway through the seventh.

Honestly, it feels like I'm still at the start of the game, not more than halfway through.

yeah, for all of it's short comings and there are a lot. I started become immersed in the atmosphere. I was really starting to enjoy it but the game just stopped working. So, i don't know if it is a problem with the disc because, like you, my disc is pristine. I sent it back to gamefly. I may try to rent it again later but anytime i would try to go to bowerstone or the cemetery the disc would stop running in the console. This all started once i came back from the spire. It is annoying to see how short the game actually is. I'm thinking they will release more quests with expansion packs but if you're paying $60 for the game thats already asking much

ets not forget that epic boss fight. Hell Lucien is by far the hardest boss I've ever faced. Even more difficult than Mildred Avalon.

Wrong thrizzead.

It's not bad but I want ZELDA

Ever since I started playing this game I have been doing so non-stop.

I love how this game mantains most things I love about the game, along with improving others.

The combat system I feel is greatly improved. It flows much better, and also has more versatility. If near a ledge, instead of slashing the enemy, you can push them off the ledge. If up really close, you stomp on the opponent's foot. If backed against a wall, you kick off the wall and perform a slash with momentum. The Flourishes are also cooler IMO, able to do them in all directions. The ranged combat is good, being able to shoot during a melee combo, use it from longer ranges, and target different body parts. Magic also flows into the combat better, being able to quickly use weak spells, and by charging, do more powerful variations, although I do not feel the way you sort the charging of the spells is that good.

So far, I have only been evil. And I love my look. Dark gray skin, with red cracks in it, huge horns(which look cooler than in the first game), red eyes, looks tight yo. Also, the different hair and facial hair is better, I have dreads, sideburns, and a pointed goatee lol. The clothes look cool when dyed properly as well. Although losing weight in the game is a b!tch.

Story ain't bad so far, I just got the quest from Reaver to return that one seal. Although personally, I find the antagonist, Lucien, to be lacking, compared to the previous one Jack of Blades I mean. I guess I just preferred the idea of an ancient demonic entity more than an angsty man who becomes emo over the deaths of his family.

Graphics are pretty good, definately better than the first, dur.

So far, my favorite character is Garth. He just reeks of coolness.

The stat increases affect your appearance like in the first game, getting buffer and taller when increasion Strength stats and Skill stats respectively, but increasing the Will brings a more noticeable change IMO, the Will scars are tight. Wish they were red though, like someone in here said they were. pissed

The world of Albion is much larger, with single areas encompassing more area than several of the ones in the first game combined.

Overall, IMO a great game, although it has some mild problems, they pale compared to its qualities. 10/10.

Hm, I'm in quite a pickle over what to choose for my ending...Love or Wealth? Wealth should be the obvious choice given my evilness and whatnot, but on the other hand...I want my fvcking dog back. 😐
