Fable 2!

Here goes: What you get for completing the Gargoyle quest is....

Spoiler:
A Rotten Apple......... 😐 Seriously. That's what's in the chest. Thats all.

I laughed for about a whole minute before realising that the wall behind the chest was crumbly. If you knock it down then you can walk up a corridor and find the real treasure. It's a unique crossbow with a ram theme. It's quite good, doing a decent 115 damage or something, but I prefer Pistols. Spoiler over

As I said, when you open that chest you're either gonna laugh or swear. I did the former.

That's it? A rotten apple and a crossbow? I got a friggin rifle more powerful than 115. ****! I'm done hunting those gargoyle statues. This is bull****!

Obviously you went for the latter.

I assume you are referring to The Enforcer, the legendary Blunderbuss.

While it is true that The Enforcer is more powerful, it is also much slower, and its range sucks.

For that reason, the Rammer may be considered more powerful.

Personally though, I prefer the Red Dragon as my ranged weapon.

Red Dragon owns indeed.

December 23 was the last post here? Wow!

Where are ALL of the Knothole Island Books at?

I'm trying to finish off my final achievments for this game, anyone got a spare Chicken Suit and Hero, Hammer and Garth dolls I could borrow?

I have finished this game a few times. Is there any way of being re-united with your sister?. I mean you get that letter from her when you do final mission and choose your loved ones hinting at where she is. I have done absolutely everything on the game but I cannot think of the place or person she describes.

no, unfortunately.

Weird. We were just talking about this game.

No, you cannot meet her, but the person she describes is Scythe, from the first game.

Thanks guys, been looking for an answer to that for ages. Kinda makes that letter seem pointless, but Theresa does say "You will be re-united with your loved ones, INCLUDING your beloved dog", when you are making your choice. So who are the other loved ones then? It should just say "Choose Dog" at the end instead!🙂

I guess the other loved ones would be my seven wives and husbands...

I couldn't get bogged down with marrying. It was too much hassle to keep them happy and keep my children happy so after I got the three achievements to Marry someone, have a kid, then marry while still married, I killed both of my wives and my kid was taken away by child services lol.

On that note: does anyone still play F2 and have a Garth or Hammer doll they could spare? I mean, this is the one achievement that's going to bug the hell out of me. Apparently they're the hardest dolls to get - seeing as they added Theresa and Lucien on the See the Future DLC ¬_¬.
