Let's look at context folks.

Magneto is always portrayed as a teambuster. He takes on Xmen and Avengers and other groups of heroes that include Thor with no problem.

GL, on the other hand, is a member of a team that includes Superman and other heavy hitters. He doesn't take on multiple guys at the same time like Magneto does.

mentality is part of a GLs power. His will is all he has. Magneto is NOTHING compared to a GL

He doesnt need too. That doesnt mean he cant. GL's are top of the food chain when it comes to heavy hitters in the DC universe. 😐
