I'll keep my loadout as before, and walk with hands ready to grab my weapons whould anything bad happen.

Mors will follow, most likely standing with the Captains and San at the head of the group.

Well, the Monkey Monk Monks take you inside the Monastery then1

As you might have gussed, it is very sparse and austere; the oriental theme continues throughout.

You are all taken into a large internal hall, which looks not unlike a Dojo, where there are mats for all to kneel or sit on. There are bowls of rice for you all.

(Yay, Doctor reference!)

Hawk looks around, admiring the design. He will remain standing until Dallas or Mors sits, unsure of how manners work here.

Dallas has sat/slouched already, poking his rice dish as if the food is hidden in there somewhere.

Berserker has his two bowie knives on him still.

Berserker will take a seat in front of a bowl and wait for everyone else to get seated.

Hawk sits, smiling to himself at Dallas' behavior.

Barb slowly lowers his large figure to a sitting position at one of the settings. Legs crossed.

Well now.

Lo Qi will remark that this is... well. Unusual.

"Our arrival, you mean?"

"Anyone's arrival here is unusual. Visitors such as yourselves..." he says, beckoning, and you would guess he is referring to your cutting-edge style of dress and enough hardware to destroy much of this mountainside, "I would have to class as unique."

"It must be said, we're not exactly locals," Mors says. "We were directed here. By the Oracle."

He raises an eyebrow.

"On a whim?"

"Not really on a whim, but rather looking for answers." San says.

"Strange," he says. "I am afraid that whilst we take it as the meaning of our existence to ponder the nature of things and contemplate the infinite, I am afraid that whatever pretence to wisdom we might have is enrtirely self-acquired. we have no... hidden paths to knowledge. When looking for answers, I would have thought one would be better off consulting the Oracle than myself. That is her nature."

"In this case, she recommended you to be the more knowledgable," Mors says.

He turns to Dallas. "Should we show it to him?"

"Uhhhhhhhh..." says Dallas. "Tell you what, why don't we make this a test of the qualities of you guys? See what you think?"

Mors looks at Dallas quizically. "My decision then?"

"The Oracle told us that...well, what it's for is here, so I wouldn't see any harm in showing it to them." San says to Mors.

"Yeah, what she said," says Dallas.
