USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 SECOND ASSIGNMENT- 'The Monastery'

Mors has a sudden sinking feeling as he hears the engines and gunfire.

"We should have left someone with the helicopters," Mors says, running with everyone else out to the rice fields.

"That would just be a corpse," says Dallas, running over to a window and leaning out. You can hear the sound of one of the copters exploding.

Cloud is definitely hesistating to go. Lo-Qi beckons him over.

Heading out the way you came in is to head towards the commotion outside. You could instead go for a back route.

I'll vote for going for a back route...

"Back route!" Mors calls out to his men and the others. "Conserve your ammo, we're not going to be able to do any damage against those planes."

"Back route sounds nice!"

Hawk screeches to a stop, spins around, and heads back to Mors.

I'll wait until I have actions from, at least, most of you.

Melis will move for the back route, stopping once to listen as another helicopter explodes.

"We're trapped."

"Guess we're not flying out of here..." Heph says, following Mors.

This decision needs to be made on a kinda instinctual basis, so everyone who has made a decision now is fixed with it, and all other deciisons must be made without advice being asked; it really is your spur of the moment reaction. Dallas has gone to the window (Marduk also), Cloud has paused, some others are looking for a back way out.

Klez stays put, with Cloud.

"They wouldn't attack us in here, surely?" Klez ponders to himself, listening to the blasts outside.

Berserker walks over to the window see the commotion and what is going on out there. He sees his fellow teammates running to the back route thats not Berserker's style. On his way to the window he shoots a quick glance over to Lo Qi not a mean glance more of a goofy what's it now face. With a smile and raised eyebrows.

He comes and stands right beside Dallas looking over his shoulder trying to see what is going on.

Sirin will folllow Berserker.

I'll go with the back door as well. Following Lana and Ares

Cloud will move quickly to Lo-Qi, "Don't suppose you could give us a little help? Show us a way out? Hide us under the floorboards and claim we left?" Cloud says, with his now normal cocky grin.

Barb, Moves behind Dallas and Marduk. One hand on a KABAR, the other on a Tachi. Looking to Marduk, he asks "What dya think, Cap'n?"

Melkor joins Dallas to observe the situation through the window, wanting to know more about the danger.

After a moment of contemplating the choice of following Dallas or Mors.
I decide to follow Mors to the backdoor. (Dallas is generally too suicidal for me to follow)

Azrael moves to follow Dallas, then, hearing Mors' shout, spins about. He, too, pauses.

"The door sounds good to me," He says.

"The back door it is for me."

Through the window, you can see the attackers are not quite what you imagined- they are Ospreys, aircraft capable of vertical take off and landing.

Right now, the five of them are hovering above the ground in a pattern around the Monastery, and many, many SWAT-style grunts are lowering down by rope.

One of the helicopters has exploded and is burning firecly; the others have been shot into uselessness.

"Come on!" says Dallas, heading out to the front.

Cloud, Lo Qi opens an interior door beyond which there is a massive room, or perhaps an open area- it is hard to tell.

What you can tell is that there is a large lake through there, shrouded in mist. There is a tiny island in the middle, upon which is a structure.

"The door is there," says Lo Qi. "For when it is time."
