I find it so interesting that we all have theories of Jack growing and developing his character, then we make threads like this and treat him as a drool target.
Umm, is that how you see him as? Is that how Johnny Depp is portrayed? As a sex-idol?
Forgive me for being a stiff and old fashioned, but then only reason I love Johnny is because of his acting, it has nothing to do with his looks. That's just a bonus. But I'm not saying you guys only see his body and not his mind, I just think that we might be going alittle over board.
I don't think we're animals that would 'hump a screen' when Johnny comes on. Let's not make a bad reputation for ourselves. It's like, KTTC only drool over Will and now they've gotten the stamp of airheads. If we keep on drooling over Johnny we'll be just as bad as KTTC.
You know, I miss the old days when we used to be alittle more civil and talk about theories and ideas and logical thoughts. Not just party all day and say nothing but I love Johnny and act like 16 year olds on their daddy's viagra.
I know we're running out of ideas about threads and so on and so forth, but I don't think we're doing the best we could to hold it together. I remember hanging around KTTC yesterday cause I got extremly angry at some chatspeak after I asked politely to use letters not numbers for words. (It seems no one cares about literature anymore, or proper English for that matter) So I was roaming KTTC and hopped onto a J/E thread.
Those people still got the flame buring, they haven't turned into party freaks that drool over the guys. They still have theories, they still debate.
I think that's the key thing here, they are constently debating. Now I know that we all need some peace every once in a while, but now it's getting annoying. It's fun to exercise our theories and strengthen our beliefs with our enemies.
I don't see how excluding the E/W members would do us any good. Infact, maybe we should all go back to that thread someone made about looking into the other person's perspective.
That thread had a lot of potencial, ALOT. And what did we do? We made a mockery out of it, we're nothing but sarcastic remarks and a pack of J/E enforcers.
I just want us to look back at our early stages, let's try and keep the peace but let's get out and debate alittle more. That's why I love the Thunderdome in KTTC, you get to fight. As long as you keep your personal attacks to yourself and be civil, you have a good time.
I really think we could improve here. Let's just all try and be alittle more collective and together.
I know one thing, we are not airheads. So let's stop acting like it.
(Now I'll wait for someone to tell me you're just having some fun, blah blah blah. Appologise if my words have hurt you or rubbed you the wrong way. Everyone has the freedom of speech and the right to their own opinion so I believe I had a right to post this. Thank you, even if this goes ignored.)

well i said "OMGOSH HE'S SOO HOT!"
and my friends look at me at said "the water??"
lol...i was sooo excited
i explained all the symbolic stuff along the way
and they had no come backs (because all of them were w/e shippers)
and by the end they finally agreed with me, that everything does build up to j/e 😄 (i love being right with my friends)
and i'm really in a euphoric state right now, watching the movie
i watched it once last night, and then again this morning(because one of my friends fell asleep after 10 minutes-lol)
