about your previous post. its true, we dont exactly have an equivalent to the thunderdome, i think mainly because the strong majority of us are j/e shippers the w/l shippers rarely make arguments worth commenting on. so for that type of thing, can't help you.
there aren't a whole lot of rules on this forum, which results in a lot of threads that are pretty superfluous and have very little to do with Pirates, but are just for socializing. sometimes that annoys me as well, but its pretty easy to steer clear of those threads and stick to threads that have some serious discussion/debate on them. im not a depp-fangirl, i never really was in to him before pirates, so i dont hang out on the love-fest thread, simple as that. but i think its cool we have a wide age-range represented on this board, including some younger members, and they have different interests and ways of expressing things than older people, which is great.
and if worse comes to worse, and you have a theory you want to discuss, please by all means start a new thread with some guidelines for the discussion. i'm sure everyone would be happy to respect a serious discussion thread, and i would enjoy one too. 🙂
