This is not a test

I have been asked this question many times and I have given many answers but I saw this on House last night and I think it is one of the best answers that I have heard. He was asked that if you die that is it and that there is no after life and he said that he would rather believe that life is not a “test”. Your thoughts?

Life is not a test. 😉

I agree. 😊

is this a test

Meh - For some it can be a gift, for others a punishment, and for others a test. Depends on one's perspective. I tend to think of it from all these perspectives at given times. The gift is being able to have this wonderful thing called free will, the punishment(or curse) being not able to experience this thing called free will actively with God, and the test aspect being - can I(with Christ's help) completely conquer this world full of sin. But despite it all - I still keep on running the race, so if anything - I can have the satisfaction of dying while knowing - that I at least attempted to reach the finish line.

Life is life. You can choose to use it to learn something new and reach a new level, live just for fun, or something else. Life is an opportunity to choose goals and try to accomplish them, even if you don´t like to have this opportunity.

Maybe the statement, "This is not a test," is a test...

Testing, testing... 123.

That's a great answer, but mankind likes to complicate things.
In 1990: 70% of Americans beleived that there is an afterlife of some sort. I don't...

More Americans beleive in angels than evolution.

I watched it too and the same line caught my attention. I thought about it after the show and I tend to think that it is more than a test.

Life IS NOT A TEST LIKE THE CHURCH WOULD LIKE YOU TO BELIEVE, life is just the experience of it.

Row, row, row your boat
Upon no one's behest
Merrily, merrily,
Merrily, merrily,
Life is not a...a...

It's actually life is "but" a dream. But hey...whatever rows your boat, eh?

Life is a test. But not for some external purpose.

Everything we do is a test it is a test of our patience, knowledge, determination, ambition, ability...etc

But it's not a test run.

I saw a program on this. There were two people that "died", both of them had not heart activity and no brain activity. One of them believed that there was no afterlife and saw nothing. The one that believed there was an afterlife had visions. If you believe there is an afterlife then there will be one.

I think life is a test in the sens that you have to suffer to achieve what you want. Doesn't neccesarily have to be divine.

If Life is a Test, how do you get graded ? Can you get extra credit ?

And can you do make -ups ?
